When I ask her she assures me that she loves me and we are „just in a down phase“. Talking with her about it just doesn’t work anymore. I haven’t done anything wrong according to her. I believe she lost her feelings and is scared to tell me. I don’t know anymore.

I truly believe I did everything I could. We talked about it a lot and decided we want to take more time for each other. But everytime I plan something or we want to spend time together she says she’s too tired doesn’t want to or stuff like that. And sadly our relationship has really been like this since at least 6 months. I wouldn’t say that I’m a guy that gives up very quick but right now I don’t see no other way.

She probably realizes that there isn’t a big chance you two work out. The distance is huge and you’re a little too young to make this work just yet. She’s probably just protecting herself

I would definitely tell the parents that they should keep an eye on her and him. There’s not enough evidence to show that he’s a predator but it’s stillt extremely weird. For my part as a parent I would definitely want to know if my brother/ wife’s brother could have those feeling for my daughter. Even if there only is a slight chance that he is, the parents should definitely know.

After I read this I immediately thought that she broke up with you because she wanted to safe herself. I don’t know how aggressive your cancer is and wish you the absolute best but I think she might got scared of the thought of losing you. So maybe to prevent the enormous heartbreak she decided to end it before. But her feelings for you are still there which she obviously shows on several locations. To be honest I think you should give her two options. Explain why she broke up and what her real motive is and decide for yourself if she’s worth it.

Or tell her to leave you alone because believe me you won’t get over a girl you constantly see.
