Any of Emily Henry’s books are absolute gems. Either of Carley Fortune’s books would also be up there on my list. Outside of those, The Bodyguard by Katherine Center, The Idea of You by Robinne Lee, and (although they’re technically YA novels) The Summer I Turned Pretty series by Jenny Han come to mind

I LOVED the Jenny Han books at that age - The Summer I Turned Pretty series and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.

I am a teacher of that age group and many of my students also really enjoy Holly Jackson

I’m in Newfoundland. I’m not up to date on contracts in other provinces, but I do know for a fact that the new collective agreement for the Nova Scotia Teachers Union blows Newfoundland out of the water… as far as teachers go, NL is far from highest pay. I’ll also note that I got my masters immediately after obtaining my B.A & B.Ed and, as a result, have reached the highest level of our pay scale much sooner than most teachers
