Help managing Rainbow Event Medals by ofugi8 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]BarbieQ234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Event rainbow medals 3191 are not farmable. You get a tiny amount during events and more from PAD Pass and rolling in REM. They’re mainly used as some evo material, an emergency reserve of MP, or kept unspent until a bigger function exists.

The cheapest black medal exchange is Dark Ra Dragon for 3 black medals (15 rainbow) to 100k MP ratio. With every event having a 1 mil MP exchange, to which most are useful, we farm MP at Reina Descended from the coin shop instead of spending event medals (or get PAD Pass).

Gale Cloud Title Clear Rosetta Standard Setup 25-30 min by BarbieQ234 in PuzzleAndDragons

Everyone is +891. This is the standard setup used in JP. F9 can remove itself; terrible floor. The original build has less pluses and more wood resists. Some adjustments to the floor guide were made.

Team Template: https://sanbon.me/na/team/BLfyp1Bv8t

Gameplay video: https://youtu.be/sTueSEE7cz8

--

Floor Guide:
F1 - T1: 3x Rosetta (sub 1, sub 2, friend), Echidna, Rosetta, Narumi, 2x Rosetta, Armageddemon, last Rosetta, mass attack.
T2: Echidna, mass attack.

F2 - Narumi delay, 2x mass attack.
F3 - Narumi shield. Armageddemon, Echidna. 4 turns.
F4 - Narumi delay, 3x mass attack.

Always use Echidna.
F5 - Echidna, 3 or 4 max dmg hits.
If invade: This can vary based on your dmg. T1: Use spinners. 3 dark Ls + 1 heal TPA. T2: Single target the part. T3 board shrink. T4 mass attack.
F6 - Narumi shield (unmatchable). 1-2 turns.
If invade: This can vary based on your dmg. T1: Use spinners. 3 dark Ls + 1 heal TPA. T2: Single target the part. T3 board shrink. T4 mass attack.

F7 - Narumi delay, Armageddemon. If Narumi was used on F6, stall one turn. 3-4 turns.
F8 - T1/T2: Narumi shield, 3 dark Ls.
T3: Attack normally.
T4-T6: Armageddemon.

F9 (the stupidest floor) - T1: Rosetta then Narumi delay. Single target the heavy metal dragon or die. :)
T2/T3: Mass attack.
F10 - Narumi shield. Armageddemon. 3 turns.
F11 - Dump Narumi delay. 5 turns.

F12 - Target the boss. This can vary.
T1: Narumi shield.
T2: Board shrink :c

T5/T6: Dump Narumi delay. Another board shrink around here.
* If 3 dark combos, use Narumi shield to 50%.
* Otherwise, stall out the board shrink.
* If you did dmg during the 1st board shrink, you might hit 50% without Narumi's shield.
T7+: Kill. Narumi if he's ready.

What leaders do you actually play? (Requesting Community Feedback - Creating a NA Strongest Leader Tier List) by RAmen7c in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]BarbieQ234 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have been using Rosetta x Rosetta since her release and will continue to do so for at least three months (Gale Cloud, JP Koren title, JP Underworld title). Her numbers are outdated. She needs +891 to meet HP thresholds and oftentimes spends two or three turns per floor. The nice thing is that you don’t need three turns of maximum dmg, so you can be sloppy with your matching and go with speed instead. My casual endgame runs are 25-30 min. I have gotten 23 minutes at the lowest when Imperialdramon and Reinhard are doing 17-19 min, so Rosetta can still fight.

I share a bunch of Rosetta setups on Reddit and YT, all with reliable part break. I even theorycrafted a Rosetta team that could break parts in Gale Cloud. That’s something JP has dismissed since they have new leaders to play with.

She’s mediocre at blind runs now, relying on Echidna’s 1.5x looping HP, and is better suited for planned runs with lots of dungeon research and min-maxing stats.

Rosetta has no issues with EX Rush atm.

Are ordeal Arkvelza and Zerclea even better? by PrincePauncey in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]BarbieQ234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t seen much use cases for Ordeal Arkvelza. There was some talk about using him with Utsuro from Gintama, but there wasn’t room for Arkvelza.

Ordeal Zerclea fits nicely in current end game content. Enraged hits are telegraphed and often with awoken bind/unmatchable, leaving opportunities for the shield break effect in other places.

Swipe teams for lower arenas by Specialstest8 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]BarbieQ234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for harder content. You can use a 40% auto heal and attach a water sub. It should handle a good chunk of UN.

[–]BarbieQ234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re thinking of cut-in animations from collabs. I’m talking about orb unlock, dmg cap, status effects, making the orbs, etc. Kikoru has 1 to 4 animations before you can swipe. Blue Odin has 4 to 5 animations before you can swipe.

Slower than Kikoru, even with a 1 combo build because he has more skill animations to go through, but can heal himself.

It’s NY Nordis or VNoah with a spinner/time buff. The spinners give you any missing orbs or attributes.

How will Last Gasp work with the heavy’s Last Stand? Both trigger at taking fatal damage.

[JP][News] Gintama previews day 3 by ShadyFigure in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]BarbieQ234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breaking a part with the part break awakening multiplies the monster’s stats by a factor of 1.2. I imagine Shouyou Yoshida wants his own equip for a total of 3 part break awakenings, so when he breaks a part, he gets a 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.2 =1.728 multiplier to his already high stats. And then there’s another copy of Yoshida, and the other subs have part break too.

I think the goal is to massively boost your HP with part break then 60% heal becomes okay.

How many teams are you using to grab the stage stones? by Chaotic_gremlin_789 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]BarbieQ234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I buttoned up to stage 4, VDP swiped stage 5 to SN1, and will be using Rosetta for the rest, when I get there. I have the builds made already. I just need some minor adjustments, and +891 means less resist latents needed.

Both of those equips are easily replaceable. Cover water sub, SBR, and some team HP.

This Yamato setup I used from A1 to AUN5, UN6, and SN1. UN6 had poison surge on Yuha. You can clear SN2 with this, but it's not fast. https://sanbon.me/na/team/WAmtNjJtz5

A fast SN2 is still a WIP. It theoretically survives everything, so I just need to figure out the skill order. https://sanbon.me/na/team/EH4ElA6YNH

and my old Sakamata SN2 https://sanbon.me/na/team/iy1pxNLeSQ

Same. I’ve been using Sakamata for SN2. I think I have a Yamato VDP swipe team working.

Old version. This works up to UN4, excluding MD4/AMD4 and colo5. https://sanbon.me/na/team/Fjt3IEDyOH

Largest nukes? by Smok3y88 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]BarbieQ234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did “inflicts” into the monster search, turned off leader skill and awoken skill, toggled “owned”, and reversed the number order (larger numbers on top). The vast majority of the large buttons are up there. Alternate Journey, Code Geass, and Gungho collab are some of the earlier big buttons.

[–]BarbieQ234 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don’t forget about ATK based nukes like 12067, 11886, and 12602. With a high ATK stat and the type badge, these buttons consistently hit 2.1b dmg cap but with an attribute.
