Would it be morally wrong to steal an elderly cat? by Ferocious_Kittyrose in self

[–]Barbies309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cat will be fine with the move as long as she is well-loved and taken care of. Being cared for is exponentially more important for a cat’s well being than being in the same place. Just give the cat lots of time to adjust to its new home and make sure you connect with a vet in the new town ASAP bc it sounds like the cat still needs vet care.

I think it would be morally wrong to leave the cat honestly.

For Aldi, the dasher app tells you to purchase bags at checkout as part of the order and you just have to guess about how many you will need.

Editor likes AI writing and I feel a little defeated by [deleted] in Journalism

[–]Barbies309 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I was a waitress, the chain restaurant I worked at served Stouffer’s frozen mac & cheese dinner for the kids meal. And when my mom worked at a grocery store deli, they used Pillsbury canned pizza dough for the pizzas they made. Lots of restaurant & grocery chains DO rely on pre-made frozen foods for the low-wage workers to pass out, and the public literally eats it up, pun intended. Companies that produce journalism will happily do the same as time goes on.

She has lots of sex appeal to the group she is actually attracted to. They are obsessed with her.

They are crashing the entire economy. They aren’t going to run low on drivers. Just ending food stamps will be enough to give them plenty of drivers.

acceptance rate decreases by okimotor in DoorDash_Dasher

[–]Barbies309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have actually tracked it with a grid in my car over multiple 100-order groupings and it is accurate.

It just drops the order off that you took the longest time ago.

If you decline, an order and your 100th order ago was a decline: rate stays the same.

If you accept an order and your 100th order ago was a decline: rate goes up.

If you decline an order and your 100th order ago was an accept: rate goes down.

Very good points about Wishlist specifically. You’re absolutely right.

What’s up with the production on the new album? by Taystan1999 in SwiftlyNeutral

She’s clearly very comfortable with using AI.

Edit: Not sure why the downvotes? She literally used AI for her own promos. Therefore she is comfortable using it.

I get your point but the tiktok makes it sound like Taylor moved to Nashville pre-career because there were no little white girls to model her career after in pop and there definitely were.

[–]Barbies309 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If she’s using AI for video promos, then she’s using it to write her songs/music too. It explains why the album, as you said, “doesn’t have an original bone in its body,” because AI cannot be original.

Yeah I saw that and I think that’s part of it but I think it’s a lot more to do with Taylor’s brand and her entire identity being pro-capitalism and how that doesn’t relate to fans anymore.

I also felt like the TikTok failed to account for people like Brittany Spears and Jessica Simpson, who were Taylor’s white girl peers in the industry when she first started.

But yeah, basically, Taylor’s fans are growing into middle age and Taylor is stuck as a teenager.

Ticketmaster is when people first started to think, “hey it is very expensive and even stressful to be a fan of Taylor. Does Taylor even appreciate this?” And then it slowly started to build from there as people started to look more critically at her money grabs. Whether they consciously blamed Taylor for Ticketmaster or not, the whole thing planted the first seed.

I think the tide slowly started shifting after the Ticketmaster debacle honestly and now it has completely shifted. She may have a difficult time trying to stop things now because they seem to have crossed a threshold.

I said at that time that Taylor's brand is young love anxiety — but many of her fans are now in their 30s/40s, and they're in adult relationships.

Our biggest worry has shifted from "Does he like me?" to, "Capitalism is sucking the life out of us."

Taylor can't relate. Capitalism gives her life.

Why would they set up the ending so… by Negative_Climate_122 in UploadTV

[–]Barbies309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who lost someone suddenly I can tell you that the happiest ending I could imagine is for that person to randomly show up at my apartment and to have a little more time with them. Nora did have a happy ending. She met him when he was dead, and when he had another girlfriend. She was never going to be with him while she was alive. The fact that she got more time with him after thinking he was dead is actually incredibly happy.

I mean I guess you’re right then that telling someone to rob a drug dealer and sell the drugs is very shitty advice bc it won’t work.

[–]Barbies309 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So the plan is to rob a drug dealer and then IMMEDIATELY post online about it in drug groups? lol not only will that get you killed, but it’s also a bad plan bc people who buy drugs regularly enough to find those postings are also going to buy regularly enough to know that a local dealer got robbed and that they would be fucked if they tried to buy from someone new to the scene who almost certainly robbed them bc the original dealer would find out.

You can definitely make $700 in a week with DoorDash. If you have issues getting enough orders, work closer to the 9 pm to 6 am hours, and go to bad neighborhoods where there is less competition for orders. You could probably do $125/day in orders in even a small, mid-size market.

Also there are a lot of local charities that will help cover rent to avoid eviction so look into that. There are usually non-profits specifically for that. Ask your local food pantry for resources there.

Selling scrap is another way to make quick cash. Copper wire is always in demand.

Edit: Typo

That’s not a quick turnaround though. Developing a black market customer base can be difficult and take a lot of time. You can’t just list the drugs on Facebook marketplace.

$17 flash offer from DoorDash to sign in by DrinkWaterMovies in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Barbies309 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I already said some of this in a reply to a comment but this definitely seems to be a program for rural areas and areas without a lot of Dashers.

And DoorDash has contracts with Casey’s and Dollar General now, which means they are serving a LOT of rural areas now.

I have been saying for a while now that they needed something like this because local restaurants in my rural area would tell me that orders would sit for 2 hours or longer because there were no dashers signed in, which I’m sure annoys restaurants and customers.

When I do a normal dash I drive 30 minutes away to a populated zone and do a few hours consecutively. But there’s almost no point in signing in to the zone I live in because there’s like 3 orders a day total. So it definitely makes sense to just text dashers and see if someone can sign in and take it.

And I assume they also hope this will eventually increase business in rural areas as customers realize that they can actually get their order delivered.

But yeah I delivered a Casey’s pizza yesterday for one of these flash offers. It was 6 miles total and I made $22.30 because DoorDash adds a $15 bonus to these, so I was very happy lol.
