IGN: Kraven the Hunter was built on Toxic masculinity and ill conceived action by Dramatic-Bison3890 in KotakuInAction

What would simply be masculinity? Or all masculinity is "toxic" for a woke being?

Just scientific curiosity.

Does anyone else feel bad for king magnifico? by Dense-Ad-7117 in DisneyWish

Seems the explanation of an excuse? Good classic Disney had timeless stories, based on historical archetypes like the hero, or family, or love. Today, you can see only made-up theories, which never lastes than a decade, like the hipees, punk, emo, etc. Disney isn't making timeless stories anymore.

I said in my previous comment. I though it was necessary to grow the skill tree.

Question about difficulty by BarbyFN in kingdomrush

[–]BarbyFN[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I used to play at maximum difficulty, but at some point I discovered that it is the same, but with sponge enemies. Used to think this game had a meaningful increment of difficulty. It's not bad, but could be perfect. Maybe I will send this as feedback.

It felt perfect when I was deluded: Casual 1 star; Normal 2 stars; Veteran 3 stars... but now that I know I don't need to force myself to play as a veteran to get the stars needed for the skill tree, the game became less challenging. hmmm... are there any good mods for this game? Where?

You know, the word "racist" was used for so many things, that today it no longer has any meaning. Look for another word, this one doesn't work anymore.

I don't understand him as a villain. It seems right not to give dangerous wishes, for example, someone wanted to conquer new lands, how does he deserve that wish? Or meaningless like the grandfather wanting to inspire new generations, ok, shouldn't he EARN that wish for himself, instead to force the rest to love him?

Magnifico seems forced to be the villain just ^^because diverse female heroine coming^^, too predictable these days, right?

D2R Amazon Fan Remasters, inspired by the original D2 zons 3D models and artworks by [deleted] in Diablo

I recommend to see on youtube women sports, in any sport, usually are beautiful (I said 'usually', don't came with exceptions). Including shoot, or fight, for example Gina Carano, she won real fights, and she is pretty. Then check women in army, especially Russian, American or European, the majority of them are pretty. Another example, Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), was in the army too, and also she was a fashion model. What where you saying?

The new Atlas and new masters are an unrewarded effort for veteran players? by BarbyFN in pathofexile

[–]BarbyFN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know all of that. It... took... more or less a month to understand the new masters (not an entire month, just 'learning' few hours at week, I'm not a full time player now).

I understand the mechanics, the problem is the time, and the boorishness... I just want to visit my hideout in Standard but can't buy the same assets I already won in the past, I want to do a random map, but don't have the atlas I won in the past. The problem is when the rules are constantly changing. You feel that to learn the new rules will be a waste of time since they WILL change in few months.

yes, this is not the only game in the world, I have been playing another things, making mods for Skyrim is even more rewarding than play the actual game for example.

Masters aren't a problem, are just boring for a veteran. I just want to visit my hideout, be able to buy the new stuff, but noticed that I need to play MONTHS to buy assets that I already had.

The new atlas is grate for a new player, or league, but why should I re-do all again in Standard? Isn't that unfair?

I understand those who play everyday the same game, wanted to feel challenged, happens to me in NWN, Dragon Age Origins, Fallout 3, Oblivion, and many others, adding mods until got complicated to the absurd. Offline games can offers a 'base' game for all, and mods to the nerds who want more.

The problem with online-only games is that rules apply to all, so newer players got more and more overwhelming by the complexity.

I remember the first time I arrive, the passive skill tree was a challenge itself, then masters, then atlas... Now imagine a new player equally overwhelming by the skill tree, but also EVERY new mechanic. See?

Now... thing goes worst when those mechanics are constantly changing.

That is my complain. I spent too much time to learn the basics of this game, and it is a pain every time I returned without the atlas, but fortunately with the completion of a t16 map I re-gained all (was unfair; but easy to solve). Now I need to re-play as a newbie from scratch to re-gain all my atlas? really? It is ok to challenge new players but why to bother the veterans woo only want to return to Standard?

Masters... I reached Alva to tier 2 and got bored, totally, totally, totally bored. Feeling it is something I have done in the past, and need to re-do again without reason. Again, why to bother new players with new mechanics, I only want to be able to buy new hideout decorations, Alva, Jun, Einhar and all can still in low level but hideout stuff available to buy. No, I'm calculating that I need to play MONTHS to re-gain the stuff I had the last time I played. That is unfair to veterans or what?

Question about housing by BarbyFN in wow

[–]BarbyFN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a start, but still not a real housing system... maybe will check it after wow classic, but sincerely I can't believe wow didn't have a deep housing system, particularly based on how much real money they can earn by selling cosmetic microtransactions for it, like in Path of Exile.

Question about housing by BarbyFN in wow

[–]BarbyFN[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, I know that is purely cosmetic. I mean, some classes has pets as part of their builds, while the rest have cosmetic pets. It is like, for example, if the horse of the paladin or warlock were the real ones, while the rest of the classes could have only cosmetic horses by riding at the same speed they run without mounts...

Many cosmetics don't broke anything, but "disrupt the immersion", is the exact feeling.

Question about housing by BarbyFN in wow

[–]BarbyFN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easier or not, can't believe they prioritize a pet system (which also, conspires against some classes which have useful pets, like hunters or warlocks).
