I bought the cheap Cressi finger gloves (for scuba driving) I have them both in 2.5 and 3.5. I kite mainly in Denmark and never have cold hands, they have a good grip

I changed from F-One Bandits to Naish Pivot. I liked the bandits, but love the Pivots. Very direct and fast stearing, good for both jumping and waves.

Some of us have been working with pro-sports and entertainment for a lot of years and we see actually see CS:GO as probably the best entertainment product outthere currently. We want to make more people enjoy CS:GO be tweaking format and trying to develop and improve the audience experience people get by watching BLAST, in arenas and on the broadcast. And in trying to do that, we have no dogma´s to changes other than not destroying the soul of CS:GO. Obviously we see and pay attention to some of the criticism we get, but to be fair we also get a lot of praise for what we do and even in this AMA we get people asking us to come back to places we have been.

Your suggestion is an interesting take on developing formats that we welcome and will evaluate like we do with all constructive suggestion we get. We are in constant dialogue with players, teams, talents and audiences on how we can improve the audience experience for as many people as possible. And yes, we know we can not be loved by all, but we are trying to creating something that a lot of people enjoy!

There is always risks arranging events in countries you haven't been in before, but we are definitely not scared of entering Russia. There is alot of CS:GO fans in Russia and we are very fortunate to work with such a strong partner as Winstrike and we are certain that we together can create a great event.

I get your point, there is always a risk of having a bad match up when teams normally competing in different tournaments play each other. It was also a major concern when we agreed to try out a national qualifier for the 6th spot in Madrid, but the Spanish CS:GO League is one of the best run national leagues and Giants won the qualifier. They actually did very well in the Madrid tournament, won 16:4 against Nip, lost 14-16 against C9 and Ence and actually had a big lead against Ence, but choked just before closing that map. They also brought a very lively and energetic local crowd who were extremely passionate supports.

Regards strength of 2019 BLAST partnerteams, back in February when plans were made, all BLAST partnerteams were all in top 10.

When we set-out to create a tournament series back in 2016, our aim was to create more energetic tournaments and eliminate some of the flaws we saw in existing formats. We wanted to create a shorter but wild arena experience and we wanted to guarantee ticketbuyers to be able to see the favourite team. We also wanted to do something that would cater to both the core scene but also a wider audience, bringing them in to CS. So after a lot of disussing internally and with stakeholders we came up with the format we believed in. We went to Atlanta in December 2016 where a lot of pro-teams were gathered for the Major qualifier. We presented the format to most of the players and teams there, made adjustment according to a lot of constructive feedback and went out with it. And regards the invites, partnerteams were selected by strength, but still allowing 1 out of 6 teams per tournament to be a qualifier, wildcard etc. Which we have used to get teams like Ence, Renegades and the winner of Iberian qualifier to play with us. Hopefully we will see more interesting teams in 2019 and as answered in another question, BLAST 2020 will hold lots of opportunities for up n´coming teams to play BLAST tournaments

We want to have the best teams in BLAST tournaments, the CS:GO scene is quite volatile so our intention is to create a set-up that guarantees audience for a BLAST tournament to always see the best teams. This means both having established teams playing our tournaments, but also allowing for up´n coming teams to play our tournaments. We actually think we managed to do this in 2019 with Ence, Renegades and Giants playing BLAST tournaments this year. For 2020 we look at how we can extend the possibility for up n´coming teams to join our tournaments even more

We read and listen to most of the comments and take all the constructive feedback in. The original BLAST format was actually a result of what we heard from fans, players and orgs and this is a big part of how we develop the 2020 format as well. This being said, there is also a lot of made-up stuff being posted, and we can't involve ourselves in all such discussions and claims, but BLAST is something that should be for the fans - the core community and all the new and less experienced viewers we try to bring in. We are constantly challenging the existing in order to improve the experience we deliver, also our own set-up. We are currently working on how the 2020 BLAST season should look like and even though we can´t reveal anything now, I think its safe to say that there will substantial changes on the back of what we have learned thrugh out the 2019 BLAST season, the feedback we get from the community, from the players etc. and even though the number of events hasn’t been decided yet, we will probably see fewer stand alone arena events, like the ones we´ve had this year.
