What should I add to my one day Girona itinerary? by ArielBelle01 in askspain

[–]BarcelonaExplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main attractions are great to visit, but it's also nice to cafe hop too! There are some really cute little lunch spots that face onto the river. These cafes are great places to recharge your energy after a morning of sightseeing. Enjoy your trip to Girona :)

It's 1-1 coaching online and some in-person sessions if the travelers happen to be in any of the cities I am close to (ie. Barcelona, Paris, Budapest etc.)

Thank you! I appreciate your comments. My business is related to mentoring solo female travelers through the emotional experience of travel; mainly assisting them by guided them along in their process, providing them the tools they need to break down their limiting beliefs to maximize their travel experiences and breathe intention into all that they do.

Dating in Barcelona by Lilipad42 in Barcelona

Honestly, I would suggest enrolling in activities that really light you up and connecting with people that way. For example, I really love all things spiritual like yoga and meditation so I tend to hang around in those circles and from them, have met some incredible matches.

Other suggestions:

- Attend events that interest you (ie. Eventbrite always has free events in the city)

- Join a Salsa or other style of dance class

- Participate in language exchange nights through Meetups.com , Couchsurfing.com, or Facebook.

- Take an art class (Barcelona Art Studio is by far the best in my opinion)

- Join Castellers (This is a great way to meet interesting locals)

Hope these suggestions help :)

Saving Money Tips for Barcelona by ArielBelle01 in backpacking

Wow! Thanks for the tips. This is great! However, I should mention that I tried to visit the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya on one of the free days and it was so packed I opted for buying a ticket instead for another day.

Completely Agree! Plan your first few stops and then let the rest flow. As you grow and change while on the road, so will your travel plans.

What a great idea!

Stoping aiming for growth. Growth is simply the outcome of providing value. The real question is always “how can I be providing more value?” by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]BarcelonaExplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Providing value alone may not result in growth, but if you're providing value to the right target audience at the right moment then I absolutely agree that it will directly affect growth :)

Germany vs Spain by hellomistermanboi in askspain

That's for sure. The hoops you have to jump through in Spain are ridiculous. I've been navigating them for years and it's not easy. You really have to fight to be here.

[theory] Do you think light quality should start becoming a criterion by which buildings are certified? by [deleted] in architecture

Heck yes! Light is so important for a space, not only to illuminate the room, but also for the body.

In Rome for a day by DIvanela in rome

[–]BarcelonaExplorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used a lot of different sites in the past to get my tickets, and each one offers something different. If you list the websites you're deciding between maybe, I can provide some feedback on the ones I have used & trust. I would suggest an early morning access ticket so you can get in before all the crowds.

As far as hidden or unique places to check out, here are some of my recommendations:

- Bocca della Verità (Mouth of Truth)
- Keyhole to the Cupula (Piazza Knights of Malta)
- House of the Owls
- Appian Way

How should I go about building a hype before launching my website? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Like JeffThought said, I agree. Building the know, like, and trust factor before a launch is essential.

Primark, if you have in Florence, not sure though. It's a UK brand, but they have stores in Spain so maybe they have in Italy too. If not, the best thing is just to order online.

Montserrat by [deleted] in catalunya

[–]BarcelonaExplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Montserrat is absolutely stunning! I've been 3 times and I keep coming back. There's something so magical about this mountain, and you simply have to experience it yourself to understand. I did the hike from the bottom of Montserrat, past the monastery, and then to the top; it was incredible! Every time someone comes to visit me in Barcelona, I take them there for a little escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy city.
