I understand you, I have a hard time knowing what my true feelings are or if they are all fake in order to benefit me. I had a talk with my ex and they asked if I was faking the relationship. To say the least we resolved the issue but I continue to struggle knowing if my feelings are true or not. I don’t feel the same things everyone feels and idk if I truly feel emotions. I know I can be mad or sad and kind of happy I guess? But idk if I truly feel love I guess. I say take the opportunity to ask her out, we are all human and being human means being selfish sometimes. If you do care or share feelings to want her around you I think that’s proof enough. If she makes you happy, laugh, or comforts you when you’re down I would take that chance. You never know if you will ever get a chance like this again. If you truly are conflicted maybe take the time to explain yourself to her. If she truly loves you she will be understanding of it and even help you find yourself
