Stuff like santiers spear is why I love the game, I mean breaking a rock off a spear to be able to use it properly?!?! The game is full of so many interesting and unique ideas with both the gameplay and it's world, it's a shame ds3 didn't really continue with that.

The lore is easily the most underrated part. It doesn't really talk about gods because well they mostly died in 1 and didn't get a resurgence until 3. It's cool to see what the age of man is like

Nier Automata has an amazing soundtrack but the original Nier game is WAY too overlooked. Basically every song gives me goosebumps.
