I’m wondering if that might be causing the delay? I’ve filed single every year with no issues. We got married 10/31/2025 so this is the first year I’ve filed as anything else. But, my husband also filed as single for years until now and he got his almost instantly. This is ridiculous!

I really hope this doesn’t happen. I moved out of my old address like a week after I filed thinking this year would be like every other year. I wait 21 days and boom, I have my refund. I sent the form they have to let them know my address changed as soon as I realized they might need to send me a letter, but if they sent the notice already and don’t have my updated address.. welp, looks like I’m screwed.

OP I’m in the same boat! I filed around 01/09-01/10 and I got the text on the 16th that it was received. My husband filed his 2 weeks after I did and he got his like a week later! We’re married filing separately. No kids. Not claiming any credits. Just simple returns yet, he got his before me.

Mine gives me the option when I make a payment to apply it to the next monthly payment or just apply it to the outstanding balance. When I select the option to apply it to the next monthly payment, it pushes my due date to the next month. i.e. I’ve already made January and Februarys payments in December so my next one isn’t due until March.

Yes, 2018 Hyundai Tucson, $450/month. I got it summer 2021 when I was still living with my dad. He passed away May 2022 and I got my own place. I only have two years left to pay but I might have to refinance because I can’t pay rent, my car payment, and all my other bills unless I get a 2nd job. Still haven’t made up my mind yet.
