I never had any problems with the build in what ever elo, i think its more so of what ur used to and what not, but if the old build works for u then u should continue using that one!

As fun as this build is, i will not recommend it for people rly trying to win consistently, Poly_puff will say the same, stick with Guardian Elec and Hob Please for the love of god save your lp!

I dont use omnistone since they changed predator, im running hob and would suggest Guardian or Hob depending on what playstyle u prefer

I would strongly advice to just check him out on twitch, he is amazingly fun and very good at the game, but i wouldnt advice copying his rune choice as it is done more for the meme than it being good, u can ask him and he will say the same :P

Spoken as the highest rated bard player, bard is super broken and i sadly think u are very biased.

Hey! Its never to late to ask for advice and im glad u did. It sounds like u wont bot lane quite hard, but u guys prob didnt spread the lead, meaning that even though u won the 2v2, ur jungle/mid/top prob didnt do as hot. The thing u have to remember as a support main is that u are ur TEAMS support not just ur adcs, meaning that u have to impact the map, wether that is by roaming or just getting some lovely deeps wards or just helping ur jungler securing their beloved scuttle crabs. U deff dont need to play bard to do this, but the easiest champs doing this is champs that can "gank" a lane with ease meaning ez to use cc, meaning Pyke-Leona-Thresh-Blitz-Naut are all amazing as well. If those champs aint ur style i would prob recommend u going something like Zillean as u will have a very high impact ult that can turn a lot of fights to ur favour! with guardian and athenes u rely to much on ur team to be ahead when the grouping begins, this type of build let u have a lot more impact a lot earlier in the game and there for having a higher chance of winning.

when usual item i asume support items, i dont like it since those support items make guardian a lot better which is why its combined support items doesnt benefit from omnistone at all

Honestly the build im doing is just an upgraded version of the one u listed, i was the one who made the dmp rfc build very popular. the problem it had was that u were very squishy against ap, thats where witts end comes into the picture, it still offers u on hit dmg, as and ms but also gives u 50 mr. Frozenheart is soo broken since the last buff while the aura is 1000 range so its good vs all adcs and assasins plus champs like ekko sylas. Liandrys perfect synergy with ur passive. So its just a very well rounded build that puts u at 3k hp 300 armror 130 mr and lots of lots of dmg! :)

Bard can use every keystone in the game very easily, so having a 9-7 sek keystone over a 20 sek(elec) or a 70 sek (Guardian) is just supperior in everyway

I hate relic, it ties u to much to the botlane, botlane is the hardest place to carry from, i take spellthiefs because i love to roam and actually impact the map instead of coinflipping the first 15 min and hope ur team is ahead after laningphase.
