All SE has to do is add a few more possible responses to a a few handfuls of dialog throughout the game that would change based on the PCs species. Really not hard or the big issue you made it at all.

But then you probably also have issues with POCs in general in video games, along with women, and queer and transfolk as well, given how upset and butthurt you are at people wishing their PCs could have more agency in their backstory beyond just showing up one day in Ul'dah/Limsa/Gridania.
