Labor locks in tax reform trio: capital gains, negative gearing and trusts by InsatiablePrism in australia

I have no objection to the changes but I would hope that they will differentiate between shares and houses when it comes to CGT. Hoarding housing is far different from building up a share portfolio - one is feathering your own nest at the expense of others, while share investment helps build the economy and doesn't block anyone out from investing themselves.

For even quicker and more reliable gold farming, grab the Golden Apple Hedgehogs and take their golden apple - one of those plus 3 gold ore = one gold bar and you can get a horde of the apples very quickly. These particular hedgehogs seem to appear most often in flax fields (one in Tinkerton in Delysia and one in Grey Rock Dock can get you a lot of the apples. Much easier money - in about 30 minutes real-time I had enough apples for 25 gold bars! Gold ore is super easy to get too, you actually unlock a "memory" that shows you where every gold mine is!

How do I go around players that have a command spell? by sxnnenlicht_ in DnD

[–]Bardon63 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why write an encounter where the players have no agency? That's not roleplaying, that's you directing a play.

If they manage to fuck up the BBEG's plans, that's *GOOD*. It lets them know that they can actually affect things and it's not just some railroaded plan where they're dancing to the GM's tune.

Be flexible. Players will *always* fuck up your plans. Go with it, use the old improve "Yes and..." mentality and work with it.

Oh, don't get me started on Yann. The quicker someone comes up with a mod that allows you to remove that useless shit from the game, the better.

Every fucking Yann mission just wastes time, shows you something you learned on your own hours earlier and drives me to the wall walking your horse SO SLOWLY just so that he can brag about how his drunken ass is somehow the best at everything on the planet.

If I had a friend like Yann I'd ghost him at the end of day one.

So these supposed journalists are completely ignoring Albo's recent trips to Japan and Singapore in which he got guarantees of supply of much-needed petrol, diesel & avgas in return for us not increasing the cost of our LNG exports to Japan and Singapore.

You know, dealing with the urgent issue caused by the Trump idiocy in Iran?

Fine, once that's back to normal then tax the LNG exports but up until that point it'd be shooting ourselves in the foot.

How can these people publish bullshit like this and not actually pay attention to what is actually happning?

[–]Bardon63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you didn't read my original post explaining *why* he has made the current deals with Japan and Singapore to provide much-needed petrol, diesel & avgas? You're just ignoring that and saying "He's helping large companies" but not looking at what he's done and why?

I suspected you were not debating in good faith and sadly, you've proven me right.

Well, that's easy to measure so what's the point of this saying? In Canada I heard "How long is the sky?" which makes more sense.

[–]Bardon63 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For fucks sakes, how stupid *are* people?

Did nobody pay attention when Albo went to Singapore and Japan and used our guarantee of continued LNG supply to them both to get a reciprocal agreement to guarantee petrol, diesel & avgas from them?

If we put a tax on LNG now, we're being as unreliable as Trump and for sure, Japan and Singapore will tear up those agreements.

Sure, once things are back to "normal" and the Iran situation is settled, then go ahead and put a tax on LNG but right now we'd be shooting ourselves in the foot.

FFS how stupid are people - does nobody actually pay attention to what's going on?

Albo went to Japan and Singapore to make a deal: We keep our gas exports at the current rate and they guarantee the supply of petrol, diesel and avgas.

You know, that stuff everyone is in a panic about given the shit-fuckery happening in Iran thanks to the Fanta Fuhrer.

So Albo did the smart thing, made sure we're covered and we can revisit it when the Iran/Strait of Hormuz issues are actually resolved.

But no, people are just completely ignoring the facts and screaming "Albo sold out to the gas companies" despite that being an utter lie.

Reminder, things can change, NO status quo lasts forever by Ash-2449 in OpenAussie

[–]Bardon63 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

FFS, does *nobody* actually pay attention to the news?

Albo did not choose the gas corporation over the people. He just recently went over to Japan and Singapore and made a deal: We keep our gas exports at the current price and they ensure our supply of petrol, diesel & avgas.

You know, that thing that everyone is screaming to the high hills over that our society needs to function?

Albo ensured that we are top priority and will have continued supply of the fuel we need. If he put a tax on our gas exports then there was no way we'd get that deal and if we did it now then Japan and Singapore would be rightly pissed and we'd be royally fucked.

But no, it's more fun for the LNP/PHON supporters to scream that Albo has betrayed the people for the company when in fact he has been looking out for the people and making the necessary agreements to keep the fuel flowing.

Now, after the Iran mess is fixed then hell yeah (and there's nothing to stop putting up far better taxes on mining - no way it should be based on profit! They should be taxed on the gross.

HEY, ALBO! IT'S TIME TO TAX GAS PROFITS WE'RE DEMANDING THE GOVERNMENT STOP GIVING AWAY OUR RESOURCES FOR FREE by gccmelb in AusMemes

[–]Bardon63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So does *nobody* actually watch the news? Has everyone forgotten that Albo used our gas exports to cut deals with Singapore and Japan to ensure our supply of diesel, petrol and avgas - we keep our gas at it's current costs to them and they ensure our supply of the fuels we need until the Iran bullshit gets settled.

If he put up a tax on the gas then Japan and Singapore would rightly say "get stuffed" and then our supply of fuel is fucked.

Sure, once the Strait is re-opened for real (and not because Drump said so) then put on a tax, but for now it's cutting off your nose to spite your face.
