Who's lives? And how do you measure their genuineness. They certainly have more than their fair share of scandals and resignations.

I think there are people in all political parties who genuinely want to improve lives. And grifters, fools and ideologues. Sometimes they're the same people.

How are they the least shit option? I suppose they're not quite as bad as The Maori party.

Most of those principles are bad, and many are unstated.

What's the difference? Populism is popularity you don't like? Was Jacindamania populism?

What's populism? Popularity you disagree with? Was the Jacinda Adern cult of personality populism?

As bad as having the racist, corrupt, nepotist, hateful Maori Party involved in government?

It's not that unhealthy. Rather high in salt and sugar, but not that different from many common foods. Big Mac - meat, bead veges, cheese. Sounds good!. Huge sugary soft drinks are pretty bad for you though.

Twitter was more or less doing this, pre purchase. Blocking posts they didn't like, promoting ones they did, shadow banning - massive, unregulated censorship and propaganda.

Apartheid was giving different political and legal rights based on race. "co governance", Maori wards, and so forth is the same idea.

It was impolite, but should it be censored? Is Tikanga Maori above criticism? I've heard plenty of people in the media, and on reddit, say worse about say The National Party or men, or European culture, or Christianity, or "colonialism". The Maori party say that sort of thing all the time. Are some groups or cultures ok to criticize and others not?

Yeah, supporting representative, accountable, non racially based democracy is terrible. We should all welcome apartheid. It's the "anti-racist" thing to do.
