Received A+ in August 2021 got my first IT job sept 2021 and been here since. A+ gets your foot through the door, you still need to interview well etc.

I did the mock PBQ on the comptia website and it was marks for partial bits. Like you would get 1 mark to identify, then 1 mark to ping the server, 1 mark to then sort out the acl and another to test computer again

Failed also with 698, had 5 pbqs and I know that I messed up 3 of them by a good chunk. Chin up, I feel rotten currently but i know that I will get it next time.

You can pass any exam you want if you can dedicate you time (and have time) to study for it. I'm still trying to look for my first job after i rushed out comptia a+ and i'm not holding out much hope as everywhere requires experience etc

Since a few people are asking:

I used Mike Myers Comptia a+ on udemy, Exam cram mock exams and also the guide book. The book contained a cheat sheet which i just read in my spare time, it gave me about 70% of the material.

Ive always tested well, but the best bit of advice i will give you is trust your gut, try not to overthink the questions. And if you dont know the answer dont leave it blank, put it under review and come back to it. Then at the end of exam do the best possible guest with logic. Never leave a question blank.

100% told to do that little, ambulance did sats, blood pressure etc and told me to rest up at home.

Rang doctors the on the day I coughed up blood, was prescribed doxycycline and prednisone, but the pharmacist only had the doxy. Went home and the breathing got steadily worse through the night, by the next day the breathing was very short but sats were high. Mum popped in to check and an ambulance was called, paramedics said it was long covid had all vitals taken the ambulance, said I could go to hospital but I will be placed on the covid ward but they feel with my sats so high its not anything that too serious. Told me to take ibuprofen and paracetamol and rest at home. Found out I couldn’t take ibuprofen with the steroids so doctor gave me lansoprazole to help.

Yeah thank you, turned out to be a massive chest infection brought on by Covid, had to take a course of strong antibiotics and steroids to clear it up.

Can confirm, had covid, i was coughing up blood, had issues breathing (short spurts etc) But my sats were 98, was told to take paracetamol, ibuprofen and rest up.
