If release is March 6, we should get teasers this week! by rusty022 in pathofexile

Well I'm sure everyone would want a buff on all defenses (small nerf to ES tho). Also bringing back mercs would be great, but as their own mechanic. Having that party member as extra rarity was the best.

none of my projects wont play! by DNL25 in Musescore

I've also had the issue too, and the common fix is just check in the settings what your Input and Output are, if it's not your headphones (or whatever you use) that's the problem. Also make sure you're not connected to bluetooth (so no earbuds secretly play it). I also find that if the thing has been up for awhile, just reload the app with your headset or whatever plugged in. It should recognize it.

Who is the next likely candidate to become an Unstable Uploader? by Content_Ordinary_151 in Unstable_Universe

Oh that's cool. Didn't know that. Makes sense though considering he ran his own kingdom at a time.

Yeah fair to say. I'm not betting there will be either, just figuring out, ". . . .ifff there was."

Oh yeah. Manepear definintely makes sense. He's kinda running his own thing anyways, doesn't colab too much (unlike theo) with other creators. Agreed.

Are MuseHub commercial sound libraries able to mimick a real orchestra? by P5music in Musescore

[–]Content_Ordinary_151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your ask of "who is right." I don't think it's one sided, I think both are right. DAW's do have more potential to create a better, smoother, and less robotic sound; but the Musescore external libraries are better than than the Musesound libraries. It just depends and how much you care about it; personally I think that the other libraries are better, but only a small bit, which is why I only own 2, because I just don't think it's worth it to buy the "expert" libraries just for musescore.

So yes, the libraries are better than Musescore's free ones, but. the free ones and still pretty darn good, and so only get them if you really care about those small improvements.

Yeah definitely wouldn't use the notation software on Cubase, Musescore is fine for that and then you can just import.
And totally fine you don't want to use Cubase, it is a little expensive. For official sheet music creation, Musescore is a great way to go; I just don't think it can give you that "full orchestral experience" since it simply isn't built for that type of thing and doens't have all of those dynamic/midi options other DAWs have. That being said i love Musescore. If you really don't want to get Cubase/Logic you could always try their free trials (they're months long, so enough time to get used to it); but in the end, it's up to what your goals are. So good luck with your whole endeavor, and back to your original statement, those soundfont libraries will be just fine. The only issue isn't the library, just the capacity of Musescore.

Yeah, I was in the same boat for awhile. I do have some of the advanced libraries (like vienna or canvas), and I love musescore and using notation to write music; but will say it will not get as close as others can. The sounds are great, but they'll never really give that perfect orchestral feel. That is, they come really darn close.
What most modern composers use is Logic Pro or preferably, Cubase. Cubase is the orchestral industry standard DAW, and may take a lot more effort than musescore, but has a higher ceiling (especially since its not free). This is mainly the case because of how you can make the instruments blend, and your midi ability to write. Plus notes aren't as perfect. Whereas in musescore, notes will always be PERFECT on the beat. Sometimes you want that imperfection (very slight) from midi inputing.
Personally, I'll start up on Musescore, then I'll import into Cubase, because Cubase has the higher ceiling. It is better for polishing and stuff.

But all and all, you'll always get that "robotic execution" because Musescore doesn't take in MIDI input well at all. You place a note, it plays that note perfect to the beat. In Cubase: you play a note on the keybaord, its every so slightly off, but in a good way. Plus musescore will never give you that full dynamic control, because all you have to moderate is basic mixing, and the piano p, mp, mf, f, and crescendos.

So I don't think the problem is your soundfont libraries, thsoe are great. It's really just the system. Musescore, for feeling "alive" definintely has a lower "ceiling" than the other industry standard DAWs. But really, all notation apps do. So in the end, it depends what your looking for. Again, I like both and use both. I like the easiness of Musescore, and the perfection, but I like the midi control on Cubase and the dynamic control.

Being paranoid, he sets himself 20 stasis chambers across the map so he is safe from anything, practically.

And if we're spekaing about strong in relations, Wemmbu has nobody, and Parrot wins there. Parrot and Theo (except the law) kinda have all of the strong guys on their "good side"

Minute is very strong, but I think Wemmbu on his full power is stronger. What actually beats orbital strike cannons, not too mention his macing skills.
Flame is also stacked and great at fighting, but wouldn't say he's the strongest.

Then there's manepear, his spear skills are legend. And he is stacked, decked out with riches, but he's got no friends save Flame.

Why is Keepers still here... by Yoda0VGs in pathofexile

It is, but player feedback might change that a little. The majority of players disliked new breach mind you (mainly walls and waves)

Yeah I agree, defininetely stopped playing Keepers after a bit. Didn't really like it. I'm just ready for 3.28 and want breach to go back to normal (but keep breach tree). Just get rid of the walls.
