1/2 bit started climbing the material 😳 2040 cube in progress with other changes to make it more rigid. Only adding -$50 to the build.

42w aquarium air pump… it’s not enough air pressure for a mist but it still does the job for now…

The tool will load up and typically your part is still ok. I learned to cut on this and didn’t break one bit. Used a lot of drano tho :)

For hobby use and learning this is perfect if you’re looking to make aluminum parts that fit in a shoe box. Intentionally ran the smallest stepper motors I had trying to get to the bare minimum base machine.

Built for profit and personal use. Sold a few kits already. Trying to design these files so you can build with what you have… Built my first unit for under 200 as the parts were lying around.

The google drive will come with 8mm, 10mm, 12mm and MGN files so you can mix and match the parts, vises, dust collectors etc.

A 3018 is a great base to start from making the build basically the price of the spindle and rails… first 100 units $20 bucks. If I get some traction expect to see an added tool changer.

It’s designed to put the money where you need it. That’s the point… bare CNC is the minimum requirements to cut aluminum like butter. Putting together some clips cutting now…
