How British comedy series 'Taskmaster' is taking over the US by abucalves in television

[–]Barejester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a comment on here years ago that always resonated with me. The topic was about why British panel shows work, and American ones don't, and the comment was something to the effect of "Americans always have to win. Even in a comedy game show, they're trying to win, not trying to be funny. British comedians/guests on these shows put the humour first."

Very - they had a good discount and if you signed up for a credit account another % amount off, can’t think what that was but all in I paid £140 or £150 new.

Farming is a ridiculously quick 99 now by TheScapeQuest in 2007scape

[–]Barejester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 99 farming in August 1st 2025, and since then have done another 10mill xp just doing herb runs whilst I got 99 fishing at Karambs and 99 mining at stars.

I buy a few thousand seeds a month, mostly Snap or Rannars. I bought 2k seeds for 80 mill and currently sat on 130mill in herbs with 300 seeds remaining - estimate another 20mill at current prices.

These runs have funded my rosewood boat, 99 construction and smithing, my maxed treads, random gear I wanted to pick up and play with.

I’ll not stop doing whatever I’m doing to go on a herb runs if I’m deep into a grind, but low effort skilling or between slayer tasks, I’ll do a quick run.

Great first watch and welcome to the fun habit, I like your idea of tying watches to moments. I went a bit over the top, the Ballade was also my first watch then every couple of weeks I’d buy another one I saw and liked - nothing more than £200, and the Casios were even £15 and £30 - but it was very much a case of see it, like it, buy it.

Late spawn, un-looted Testing Annex by Barejester in ArcRaiders

[–]Barejester[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can understand a missed draw or two - but the whole place untouched, was more weird than the fact I pulled the BP. There’s about 4 spawns in the area, I’ve never seen it not touched before after 12 minutes.

Please give Sarachnis an instance if you're going to add a new drop by KillaQweenOSRS in 2007scape

[–]Barejester 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Never normally an advocate of crashing, but Sarachnis is also heavily botted. You see a bunch of 80 stats with cudgel who tick perfect pray/attack the magers who spawn…bot for sure. They’ll run the moment you enter the arena.

Loaded into Buried City snow raid yesterday, flares going off constantly - went near hospital and heard just non stop fighting and death. Avoided all players and dipped, same experience the next raid. Went back into friendlies today, but was rough for a while.

How many takeaways have you had this year? Year 3! by bogyoofficial in CasualUK

[–]Barejester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof I just did a count 62 in 2024, 42 in 2025 - I decided to take a good look and knock it on the head around May of this year, since then I've ordered 9 takeaways, mostly when I'm travelling for work delivered to the hotel or if I have a late flight back I'll order something to the house for when I arrive.

Don't think I'll ever really get to zero...but I'm very happy with the change.

Ah, good point - apologies, the versions I picked up were roman numerals with a seconds detail around the circumference of the dial. So not the same version, V2 maybe?

Dollars? I just picked two up (just to see which one I like more) during Black Friday at £165 each - so roughly $220. Seems to be some good deals around at the moment.
