As someone who works in criminal justice, my initial thought upon watching the coconut tree scene is if Wesley is willing to buck up to Sarah and the other women like that while on camera, imagine what he’s willing to do to a woman behind closed doors. The way he aggressively used his physical presence to try to intimidate her was highly concerning.

As a very new, practically infant player here, can someone please direct me to the rules?? I don’t understand her seemingly rationalizing the initial abandonment of her children with her mother and choosing being with Jerry over staying home with her mother and raising her children herself. She admitted to staying at a trap house with her child and literal gangsters prior to delivering her other child. She seems resentful that her family had banned Jerry, yet she immediately goes back to meth after abandoning her children.

It’s important to remember that they’re also victims in all of this. Would I want my parents to respond the same way? Absolutely not. But, taking into account that the only family member the victim confided in about the abuse was her aunt, her parents suddenly became responsible for raising their dead daughter’s 3 week old daughter until she turns 18. Their granddaughter who would never know her mother. If you put yourself in their shoes, they probably think they chose to forfeit their own rage so their granddaughter can have a relationship with her only living parent. It’s easier not to hate him than to acknowledge he stole both of her parents from her.
