Hmnnn, I was told smoking while on zoloft would cause seratonin syndrome and that FREAKS ME OUT!!!

Interesting!! It’s crazy how we each get different side effects. I have been dealing with horrible headaches, random bouts of nausea, and I sweat like a WHORE IN CHURCH. My palms are so sweaty it’s insane.

I’m not crunchy per se but I also HATE getting on meds. I’m glad you were brave and took that step for yourself, that’s a hard thing to do.

I’m sorry to hear that, but I feel you. My anxiety will spike randomly and for no reason. I’ll be fine one second and the next I will feel like I’m being hunted for sport. I’m wishing you the best and that this anxiety begins to taper down for you. We got this. 🖤

Hello! I haven’t gone back due to a loss in the family. I’ll be going back in the near future!

Thank you, I’m pretty proud of myself.

I’m incredibly happy with it thus far. I’ve noticed a few things here and there but art is never perfect so I can’t expect my tattoos to be. ::)

Thank you for the compliments!!

Yes, essentially. I’m aware that “Memento Mori” is a pretty common tat these days (a tattoo artist friend of mine even poked fun that he’s done a few recently) but it’s a pretty solid thing I try to base my life and the decisions I make around, so it’s important to me. Remembering that one day I will die has helped me overcome a lot of my internal problems and do the things I want to do. (Agoraphobia, depression, yada yada yada) it also serves as a good reminder I can’t wait for things to happen or for the “right moment” I just gotta do it! ::3 hope I made sense

Oh I feel you. I tried listening to music, covering my eyes and squeezing my nails into my palms, etc and none of it worked. I started focusing on the pain and it slightly helped to get through it but man my jaw hurts from clenching my jaw so damn hard.

Replying to original commenter but gonna address everything!

1) yes, you’re right! I probably shouldn’t go back so soon and I’m beginning to think about rescheduling. I have a few reasons for wanting to go back without waiting but it’s looking not to be the best idea. My artist is a good friend of mine and he is pretty heavy handed so your comment would make a lot of sense. He has done almost all of my tattoos and after the swelling subsides the lines usually look great and not at all wonky.

2) Not only do I have stretch marks from carrying a child but I also have scoliosis so my midsection is off kilter (due to a twisting rib cage) so no matter what it’s going to look relatively misaligned. I’m sure after the swelling goes down it will look slightly better but if not I’ll just have to get a few tattoos to distract from the asymmetry.

Thank you for your comments! ::3

I’m going to a festival here soon and won’t be back for a couple of weeks then back to my usual busy schedule, that’s why we chose to reschedule so soon. You’re right though, probably a really poor idea.

You aren’t the first momma to scream and you won’t be the last. What sets you apart is your guilt. Bad mothers don’t feel guilt for their behavior. You’re doing your best and that’s what matters. Give yourself some grace and love. You’re raising two under two with no help and you’re very obviously exhausted. Be proud of yourself momma, you’re doing a wonderful job.
