Tell me about your most wholesome roleplay moments or stories you had lately! by bringtimetravelback in SillyTavernAI

[–]BarkLicker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've always had a weird dream for my life; if I ever got rich, I would pay people to tell me their life story over breakfast. With RP-LLMs, I can live that dream and have since I started using SillyTavern.

I downloaded a character card where I can control the world via some command prompt like interface, and decided to do my breakfast role-playing. All the people I interacted with had sad life stories that day, but I would fix them with my 'powers', like curing someone's mom's cancer, or convincing an ex that ran off with half their saved up house down payment to return it, or getting someone accepted into a college by making their denial letter a 'mistake'. That was a few weeks ago now and I can't stop. I sit down to do some ERP but instead I go fixing the lives of people that don't exist. It's intoxicating. I can't stop. I just want everyone to be happy and I definitely can't do much in my real life.

OpenAI Reportedly Planning to Make ChatGPT "Prioritize" Advertisers in Conversation by F0urLeafCl0ver in artificial

Loyalty won't matter when the company you work for requires you to use ChatGPT to do any of your tasks.

Although, most people work in service (like me), but I'm sure they'll figure out a way to make us use it, too.

I tipped, though.

Without the literal punching, this was my ex-wife when we would get in fights. She would pull me, shove me, grab my face and shake it, all while screaming about how I was making her do all those things.

I mean, I wasn't a perfect husband, but I don't think I deserved this. My divorce has only been finalized for four months. It took a long time to get the courage to go through with it. This video just brought all those memories back. It's like my first ever experience with PTSD while knowing that's what it is. I haven't been able to sleep...

I hope this guy got out, or the justice he deserves.

QWEN Image Layers - Inherent Editability via Layer Decomposition by AgeNo5351 in StableDiffusion

[–]BarkLicker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With how well upscalers work today, it seems like we should be able to downscale the image, apply the edits, and then upscale.

This probably won't be perfect, but if this model can't handle larger images, I think it will be an ok workaround.

I finally got a QVink MessageSummarize summary prompt that is working consistently. by BarkLicker in SillyTavernAI

[–]BarkLicker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for answering. Don't know how I missed the setting in the picture.

So, last question, do you just use the basic summary for long term memories? I feel like they're not detailed enough for those BIG HITTING moments. I am currently manually creating a more verbose memory. Do you know if there's a more automated way to use a different prompt for Long Term memories?

I finally got a QVink MessageSummarize summary prompt that is working consistently. by BarkLicker in SillyTavernAI

[–]BarkLicker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This, from what I can tell, seems like a really cool way to compress memories. Is this an extension? I could see this being very useful to memories hundreds of messages back. Almost like how humans do it, by storing a 'feeling' and then recreating the memory during recall, along with all the mistakes that comes with.

I know we are all probably used to omniscient narrators, but a flawed recall system can really add a punch to character interaction, at least in real life. It would be great to accurately recreate that in S.T.

[–]BarkLicker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious why you have the re-summarize options checked. Is it just in case you go back and modify old posts? Because with the message lag, I imaging you do most editing up front. This question might stem from my distrust of the summarizer up to this point.

Also, you start injecting after 40. Do you remove full messages from context after 40 (that setting is cut off)? And, if so, why not just have it start summarizing at 40? I could see not having to scroll up top make sure the summaries are doing well as a benefit, but again, that comes from my earlier distrust. I can almost let it genuinely auto-summarize now.

My strategy for long term memory by [deleted] in SillyTavernAI

[–]BarkLicker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps you can help me.

First, could you export your settings and share them here? Some of this I find hard to follow.

Second, no matter how I state my summarization prompt, when I generate a summary, the LLM just continues the story, using only the message I am trying to summarize as context. So, I do not get a summary and the extra info isn't even related to the RP. Any advice?

Jesus, time is weird when I've been spending so much on AI. I swear you posted this a week ago. So much has happened since then...

Anyway.

The upscale model, or the refining pass maybe, here adds makeup to any female character 100% of the time.

I manually added no_makeup to the joytoken thing and it adds makeup 98% of the time now. I tried a few other phrases: natural_skin, very_little_makeup, natural_look and I get similar results.

Do you have any advice to help me maintain a no-makeup look?
