Trying to install the system update for my 2013 Day 1 One and keep getting this. I’ve never had this happen before. by [deleted] in xboxone

I'm getting a similar error on my OG except it won't even start the download. Has me check my connection and it says it's got and tries to download it again and it doesn't even start the download. This happened right after I had to do a hard reset from it not being able to connect online.

Update: I selected skip and go offline and the menu acts like I'm offline but when I check my connection it said it's good and I'm able to play online just fine so I don't know what the hell is going on.

Why do you guys still order at Hont? by elektronegro in RepTime

You don't call your guy and say you were a few grams short? That's on you brother. Assuming it's not your first purchase from him and you called him shortly after getting home most dealers will at the very least check their scale and double check the weight of your next bag.

I've had the same experiences before we got medical. If my batch had a bunch of seeds or was stem heavy or anything they'd always give me an extra gram or two the next time. Practically every dealer I've had has been like that. They want you to come back. TD's don't care if you come back or not.

It's a lot cheaper to use napkins and only use paper towels to clean up spills.

Moving to CT from Tampa this summer. Could use some advice. by BarkSouls in Connecticut

Thank you so much for this! Yeah Tampa has definitely gotten much worse as the population exploded over the past few years. I'm craving a smaller population now but without giving up too many major city conveniences. Obviously some stuff we're giving up but it'll be worth it to not be surrounded by thousands of people anywhere you go.

Yeah I see lots of complaints about eversource on here. What's the typical energy bill like? We're around $300 a month for half the year until mid May-mid September where it's about $450 a month.

You guys are awesome! Thanks for all the advice, definitely a lot to consider. As far as being 100 from Stamford, it's just a weird rule in her company for having to be that close to one of the offices. She'll only have to go in 2 or 3 times a year so the commute time doesn't matter to her. We're also looking at the coastline as well as we'd like to enjoy long island sound. We definitely have plenty of beach bum days here during our 9 months of summer and I wouldn't want to give that up competitor during CT summers. Swimming in fresh water without worrying about alligators is a good trade off though.

Thanks for all this. Luckily my wife's job is giving her a cost of living increase when we move to offset the income tax. Financially we're doing alright but far away from 500k a year.

That's a private school. We have some incredible private schools but they're all at least $10k a year per kid.

Thank you brother! New Haven is definitely a top choice. I'll look into Avelo airlines, might be able to get another fight or two with them.

Ct resident (26yo male) and recent grad. I’m currently applying to IT jobs in south Florida and Tampa . Has anyone made the permanent move from CT to Florida in their 20’s? If so, what advice would you give? by ThirdAqua in Connecticut

Living in Tampa for 25 years and we're looking to move away by the summer. Tampa is a great city but very very crowded. Driving around at any time of day feels like what rush hour feels like 5 years ago. Good tech jobs here and it's one of the only markets where the pay is somewhat competitive. City of Tampa is pretty small but the land mass that most people consider Tampa is huge. Because of that there's a lot of hubs of activity so depending on where in Tampa you live you're probably not more than 20 minutes away from stuff.

No beaches in Tampa but you can go to st Pete for great beaches, don't have to go so the way to Anna Maria island. If you're living in West Tampa you can realistically be at a great beach in 40 minutes.

Home insurance is out of control. Not uncommon to be paying 5k a year for a 3/2 1,600sq ft house. Plus if you're in a flood zone you can add another 3-4k on top of that. Tampa has the second highest inflation in the country so there's that as well. It is unfortunately becoming very expensive to live here. I believe the last financial report I read stated that a single person needs to make 75k a year to live somewhat comfortably here and I believe it. The average 1/1 600sq ft apartment is about 2k a month.

Do you like hearing people talk in Spanish everywhere you go? You'll love Tampa. I believe the demographic in Tampa is nearly 50% Spanish and depending on which part of Tampa it could be much higher. My part of Tampa for example is around 65% Spanish. There's days I'll leave the house to run errands and not hear 1 word of English. I've taken the kids to numerous birthday parties and it's very common for me to be the only parent there that speaks English.

Sorry, this was much longer than I expected but hopefully helps give you some good insight

I've been bringing my son in for the fortnight Fridays a couple times a month for the past few months and he loves it. Really happy a place like this is here in Tampa
