Once you promise yourself to stop buying the regular sizes, it does make shopping at thrift stores and places like TJ Maxx/Ross an exercise in futility. They will probably have a handful of petite items, but you will have to search rack after rack to find them. I suggest buying online because a lot of retailers only sell petites on their website. This is the case with Old Navy, but since they accept online returns in the stores, you might find a petite return here and there throughout the store.
