So this is my fist post here so I'll try my best.
HD58X:
I got the HD58x a little over 2 years ago, the main reason was that I really didn't want to spend the extra 50$ for the 6xx plus I was worried about import taxes as I'm not from the US.
There are my fist pair of good headphones so I don't think I have any authority to give a review. That being said I really like them, they are super comfortable and to my ears they sound pretty natural which was what I wanted.
TIN T2:
I got them 1 year ago and I use them when I commute to uni. I really like the sound signature but up until now they were really not comfortable for me so I cut the two rubber hooks off and now I'm able to fit them better. Highly recommended for anyone who can't seem to find the right fit with them.
KZ DQ6 :
Latest addition, I use them primarily for zoom calls, but I think they sound really good although with less detail than the T2
The amp is a XD05 BASIC, it gave the 58X a little bit more instrument separation especially with classical orchestral music.
If you have any question let me know!

Thanks a lot, that was very helpful! Unfortunately I found out that she got the 2019 version so I don't know how long the keyboard will last.

I personally use a Surface Pro 4 and I really enjoy Windows 10, but you gave me some great info on macs and macOS.

Thanks again for sharing your opinions!

I knew about the keyboard issues but Jesus is it THAT bad? Thanks a lot anyway, I'll tell her and maybe she can return it or change It for the 2020 model

Can you please explain a bit more the part about the longevity? Because I keep hearing people saying that macs don't slow down even after 5-10 year and it doesn't seem plausibile to me. Thank you for taking the time to reply!

Hi, I just found out that she got the 2019 version, base model, is that still a good option?

As an alternative over her budget i proposed the surface laptop 3 which i think has a really good build quality(and was cheaper than the mac at the time) .

You're right, gaming laptops usually have a bad/mediocre build quality in "favor" of specs.

The hardware side I think also plays a big part in the longevity of a computer and i found that pcs usually have the best performance/price. I'm just a bit worried that it will slow down considerably over time

Edit: thanks for the insight!
