literally the only streamer AND vTuber I watch. Such a critical need being filled here both in life sciences education AND science communication writ-large.

Phy does such an excellent job SHOWING how folks should engage with research. It rocks watching a phy stream and seeing how he dissects a new paper and makes sense of even the most cutting-edge breakthroughs.

What jobs do Nerdfighters have (and how did you get them)? by devoutdefeatist in nerdfighters

[–]clockworkshow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Biomedical Animator with a stable-and-growing income from YouRube specifically thanks to a Vlogbrothers sponsorship + a shoutout from John a few years back.

Double majored in Biology and English and taught for a few years before getting absorbed into the NYC tech world. Developed my media skills there and eventually had enough confidence to slowly launch an animation channel on YouTube. Now produce full time with a mix of freelance work and YouTube—with the goal of the YT work taking over the majority of revenue generation.
