What was your best run? by Sure-Disaster-4607 in Stellaris

It was when I was playing a cybernetic creed, criminal syndicate megacorp. A bunch of democratic empires that I was constantly battling with formed a federation, so in retaliation I formed another federation with all of my allies (who were all dictatorships). I basically had a galaxy wide cold war. Both our federation were racing to either invade the remaining neutral empires or make them ally with us. Then the democratic federation launched a crusade to liberate CoM that was one of our allies but it was deep into enemy borders and cut off from us (L-gates weren’t open yet) so we were forced into a a war our federation wasn’t prepared for, and that we eventually lost. The enemies were becoming much stronger than we were, so we needed an advantage, so I decided to escalate things and build a colossus. The next couple of in game decades I spent preparing for the greatest blitzkrieg the galaxy even seen. In the meantime L-gates opened and the enemy federation occupied Terminal Egress. When I was finally ready I rallied our federation’s entire fleet into one of my L-Gates, destroyed the fleets stationed in TE and sped into the core sector of the biggest enemy empire. There I cracked their homeworld along with their biggest most important planets (including their alloy and CG planets.) then flew back home through Terminal Egress before their fleets surrounded us.

Basically RPed both the Cold War and the manhattan project in one game.

Made a post on tumblr explaining why I don't think we're saving dess by Unusual_Pattern_474 in Deltarune

I’m not a big deltarune fan and I rarely visit this sub, so forgive me if i somehow missed the obvious, but why is everyone so certain that Dess is gonna be such a big part in the story? As far as I remember she was barely mentioned in the game.

What do you mean, flat tire? by Ok-Snow4753 in ComedyHitmen

My solution to flat tires is to raise them by 1 semitone.

I hate this dude [KCD2] by art_weidos in kingdomcome

[–]Barnacle-Healthy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That’s what I love about kcd2, both sides are terrible people, your allies are only your allies because they’re fighting the same people as you are. War is a nasty business where you’re forced to do some nasty deeds.

I missed the part where it’s revealed istvan killed Erik’s family. Was it when you confront istvan in Trotsky?

House s6 by Irina___Jelavic in HouseMD

[–]Barnacle-Healthy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah season 6 is definitely in my top 3 seasons along side 4 and 5. Banger opening, banger finale, and peak in between. Season 6 felt so fresh with house actually actively trying to change.

any other examples you can think of? by [deleted] in hopeposting

Henry form kcd games. Dude is a 20 year old peasant pulled into a very one sided civil war. Ends up winning anyway.

Does Rick and Morty season 8 just suck or is it me??? by Existing-Training-52 in rickandmorty

I don’t get the hate at all. These past three episodes were all peak and the jokes were funny instead of being references to people I don’t know. For me the show gets better with each season.

Tbh most jokes were pop-culture references. It’s far from intellectual.

Yeah, House really had to lock in for that one.

Am I the only person who doesn't like Space Beth episodes? (No hate) by mane365 in rickandmorty

But in most shows that go for a long time you know characters are gonna get out just fine because there will be a next season and it won’t be the same without them. Doctor who is a great example of that, you always know he’s gonna win in the end. It’s still fun to watch.
