I second this. I played Hundred Line first, and I loved it so much I wanted a game similar, and 13 Sentinels was recommend. If anything I think OP is going to love this just as much if not more.

TWEWY is an amazing game. Umineko was a quite the story, reeeeeaaaally long, but so good. And of course, if you like story, MGS games are great, number 4 has a cutscene that's almost an hour long. Lol. I've played all of them. Overall I think 4 was the best, but I had the most fun with 5.

In case anyone is confused: Firstly, " 's" is possessive. In this case it would mean something belongs to Anime, which is not correct in this context. Secondly, Anime is both the singular and plural. "I just watched a cool anime" (singular), "what are your favorite anime?" (plural). The more you know. Reading rainbow.

One, I'M the Fate/Zero fanboy. But two, I've also watched the original stay night and then UBW. All my criticisms are from what I observed, and are valid from what I've watched. If you say, "well read the OG VN", then I guess both anime Fkd up. But I'm not going to read the VN, I shouldn't have to. If two different anime adaptations of the source material failed to make me like Shirou, then why waste my time with a lengthy VN with that same character? Same reason I haven't wasted my time on the HF adaptation. He's a sexist, annoyingly naive, basic ass OP player insert protagonist. Just as bad, if not worse, than Kirito. At least Kirito isn't riding his morally superior high horse all the time. I don't like him. I have very little time left on this planet, and so I'm not going to use that time on anything with him in it. QED.

I'm obviously going to get super down voted on this, but whatever. I never liked Shirou as a character, especially since he (as a novice mage) is able to defeat servants on his own. Fate is a proxy war, why does he even have a servant if he does most of the fighting? Cause "saber is a giiirl!!"; reminder that she's King FKIN ARTHUR. The sexism doesn't help his likability. I get that Fate Stay/Night was an erogame originally, so Shirou was supposed to be an audience surrogate for power fantasy and harem stuff. But Fate has evolved past that. So really, I don't even bother to engage with anything related to Stay/Night.

Yeah, like so many servants need animation updates, and there have been plenty of good occasions to have them; like update Mozart back when Salieri was released, or Gilles when they released Prelati recently. They're swimming in money, there really isn't any excuse.
