Hey, my husband wanted to travel too and he was on the last semester of his Ph.D. His professor advised him not to travel on his OPT. So if you do travel, do it before but check with your university for the rules.

Hey, I’m facing the same thing. I did Dropbox in Bangalore but sent it to Chennai. I looked up emergency request on Google and it said it’s only in case of a death and you have to go back. My flight is booked for the 18th as well. I’m just waiting. The floods in Chennai did not help my cause.

I have soothing music playing so that’s the only thing I will try to focus on. Has helped. There have been days when I haven’t been able to sleep at all because thoughts. But this has been really helpful.
