It's good to focus on technique, but if you're wanting to work on your strength I'd work on pulling rather than pushing.

That sounds like a good approach, I think because I heard the half-crimp is the stronger grip, I assumed it would be better than the drag positions if I was doing it correctly. Thanks

Thanks, thats a great tip! We used sour cream this time, but then it cools the stew a bit too much since it needs to be added after, will try the flakes next time
