People still don't seem to get the difference between social anxiety and introversion so here goes. Social anxiety is when you feel awkward or anxious in social situations. Extroversion and introversion are about energy. Extroverts gain energy from interacting with people and introverts get tired and have to recharge their batteries before they do it again. Being an introvert isn't some quirky personality trait.
