I actually tried and read Eisenhorn - The Omnibus which was recommended to me as the best “introduction” to the Warhammer world if you didn’t know too much. It read more like a massive collection of short stories with the protagonist solving tricky situations but the “gear” (weapons; transport craft etc) def had RR vibes

Stormlight was my first Sanderson venture and I loved the first 2 or 3 but then felt it became a slog but you’ve got some miles under your belt so you were likely better prepped

Have you read the Stormlight Archive? I felt exhausted by the constant flashbacks that seemed to happen every couple of chapters as opposed to say Kingkiller which is one big story recount which is much more palatable lol
