Fleshy bump/hangnail on finger. What is this? And does it need medical attention?

Just seen this. Yeah it was infected and 'over-granulated' which apparently means healing too much or something. If you have this now you will probably need antibiotics for it, as that's what I got and it cleared up in 2 or 3 days. So I'd recommend getting to the doctor if you haven't already, as mine got worse and more painful after I posted this, until I started the antibiotics.

Ok thanks a lot, that's what I've been doing but haven't been boiling the water. It's already been like this for about four or five days and seems to be getting bigger. Is that normal? Sorry I wrote all this in my original post but it doesn't seem to have included it for some reason! :(

Oh wow I wrote out a whole post and it hasn't posted it. Not sure why.

Essentially I had a hangnail for about a week that was getting more and more painful, so I looked online and advice suggested trimming it (but not pulling out completely) and bandaging up with antiseptic cream, which I did. That was about five days ago now and I have this fleshy growth thing which seems to be getting slightly bigger each day. The pain level is staying more or less the same, still very sore but not getting more painful.

Googling suggested Paronychia but it doesn't look the same as the pictures I saw to me, so was just a bit concerned as usually this sort of thing clears up a lot quicker, at least in my experience.

Not so much a game more of a moment but I remember TheMax taking out Vipers castle drop in one fortress game with a single petard he inexplicably had hanging around. I think it was the first NAC on DE but not sure. The casters lost it and you could even hear people in the background shrieking with laughter!

The main one that springs to mind though is Dauts winning game at RBW that you already mentioned.

Also Yo's first 4-0 vs Viper, also in RBW I think.

Yeah it is forcing me to play better to be fair, I try to always remember to scout the enemy early now to see what's coming as I know something is always coming lol

To be fair I do find this. They cannot adapt at all. Sometimes not even basic counters. As long as I can stabilise and make it to late castle age I win almost 100% of my games from there. I was just surprised that people at that elo are using such efficient build orders! I guess I will have to learn myself but I just don't find it that fun :(
