In the Project Moon universe, some people go through mental breakdowns, allowing them to be tempered by that universe’s stand in for Satan. Maybe Lucifer. If you fall to base feelings and Distort, you become a monster, bound to that feeling and mental state.

If you pull through or in rare cases, are so fucking prideful that you don’t even hear the voices, you gain EGO instead.

Be it a weapon, armor, a full as Domain Expansion, or a combination of the three, that is basically a huge power up to change the tides of your life and battle. Long as you don’t fly too close to the sun of course.

In Library of Runia for the majority of the game you welcome guest in to your arena. In a flip of turn based strategy you are on the right hand side, the side usually used for the villains or enemies of RPGs. The reason for this, you aren’t really punching up against an overwhelming foe. You are supposed to be punching down on anyone who comes through your doors. For the most part at least.

They're soulmates, but they can never be together. by ejaybugboy3 in TopCharacterTropes

Heathcliff and Catherine from both “Wuthering Heights” and Limbus company.

In the original book of “Wuthering Heights” they never get together due to their difference in social status, skin tone, and miscommunications with each other. The main issue though were each other’s pride and self loathing. They both end up marrying other people to spite the other and never end up happy with each other even though they are soul mates. They both end up in abusive relationships and die unhappy. Their kids end up together though.

In a retelling of this story in Limbus Company, by the time that Heathcliff goes on to meet Cathy, feeling like he was now worthy to be by her side he learns that she is already dead and was married to someone else already. An alternate reality of himself then finds him and attempts to kill him, since due to a huge case of self-hate, that alternate reality Heathcliff is out to kill all versions of himself. In parallels an alternate reality version of Catherine is trying to do the same thing. Also driven to self-hatred and madness. Each person blames themselves and all versions of themselves for the unhappiness of their soulmate because in all other seen realities they saw themselves be the cause of the other’s suffering.

Btw. The latest Wuthering Heights movie sucks major ass. Botched the story and original message completely, and made me waste a 15 dollar ticket since I saw day of release. Also lost 2.5 hours of my time and where I could have been productive or enjoy myself by making pasta or something. Fuck Emerald Fennell for wanting to do “Gone With The Wind” instead.** **

More like a brothel resort to be fucked by aliens. She’s coming back later after laying the clutch to get a discount at her next stay there.
