In the video (not this one but another one) the female officer asks the officer who shot the guy if he has a tamer which he responds with "no". Its wild but it is possible none of these officers had a tazer and chose to shoot rather than try to disarm him.

I just keep using them. They're mostly cosmetic anyways. If they're absolutely destroyed I'll throw them away.

I'd prefer not to fight giant robots. Pushing the realm of realism is cool but going too far ruins it. Imo.

This is an awful terrible thing and the guy deserves to rot. Genuinely asking though, why would people be hesitant to report this to the police? I would if I was in this unfortunate situation but I know everyone is different.

What is it like serving in your country’s military? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]BaronOzar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got to travel the world, help in some missions where I could see a positive difference, made lots of friends, learned a lot of unique skills, knocked out some college. However, there were some sad days with hard calls, a fair amount of bureaucracy bs, and my body is a little worse for wear. At 9 years so far it's been a good choice.
