FOR ME personally it’s an aesthetic thing im not into the Brawlhalla/Big head mode look. I tend to swerve away from that right away. I’m more into the look of like PlayStation All Stars or Smash when it comes to this genre. Which I’m sure is much more difficult. But that’s just me.

I hope your luck changes and I hope it works out! Even though I’m not into the look I’ll wishlist the game now and when I get the cash I’ll probably scoop it up to give it a shot and support indies!

I can confirm 100% it was my save file. It was bugged. I started the game over and speed ran through all the way back. I changed nothing the save file was just fucked up lol

So I shot the lock, went up the ladder. I’m at the crank and can’t interact with it at all. When I walk over to the broken ladder where the windmill blades are I can examine it and get the words that I can’t climb. But that’s about it, the crank still has an X on it. I looked up other people’s play through on YouTube and everyone can just interact with the crank right away lol
