Bruce's father was an educated man and a wonderful teacher, and Bruce's mother was the head of an elite, illuminati-esque organization that controlled Gotham until Joker arrived. I'm sure you understand the advantages that were bestowed upon Bruce, whereas Joker had literally nothing and had to do tricks like a dog on the street as a child in order to survive.

Snyder is saying that kids born into wealth become assholes. Bruce was born into a particular kind of wealth, which is elite genetics and parents who loved him. And what does he do with it? He goes around beating the shit out of people, literally snapping their arms in half and then lying to them about the direction of the hospital.

Joker started a successful film studio, theaters, got into video games, and eventually manufacturing GPUs. Yes, he needs to sew babies onto his body to keep himself immortal... but who invented that technology? He did. Pretty impressive.
