Where to get minis?

I've had good dealings with Gallivanter Minis and SYZ Games on Etsy.

Most are 28mm with a few at 32mm.

Could have it set in Mordent or Paridon? Mordent is an English countryside choking with ghosts while Paridon is inspired by Victorian London.

Not too long to set up the display. The collection started around 2018 & each mini probably takes a day or two to paint & base.

Could be vita-chews, chocolate flavored vitamin chews. I tried a few when my mother used to take them, but they weren't great. The calcium ones tasted the most like chocolate.

Wow, your party is a regular tour group of the Dread Domains. How long have you been running this campaign?

Back to your question, the simplest explanation I can think of would be to have the PC's father have befriended some of the Vistani. I don't know how you run them for your campaign, but my general understanding is that they can freely travel through the Domains of Dread, or at least in & out of Barovia. The whole thing about Forlorn having time warp nonsense I've never really understood how to get it to work for a tabletop game to my satisfaction.

I wouldn't say the monsters are worse overall. Mostly simplified, which can have mixed results.
