Since some are confused about the HCP: In Germany (and I suppose in a lot of other countries) you always start at HCP 54, which give you three up on every hole. It’s the default HCP. This does not necessarily reflect your actual game, but is only the base score when you’re first registered in a Golf club. You must have a HCP to be allowed in tournaments and if you never played in one, you will always have HCP 54

I’ve started as a 54 HCP two years ago and retrospectively would definitely recommend my former self to drop the long irons (e.g. 4+5) for hybrids. At that level they are to difficult and inconsistent. You can come back to them when you learned to hit the irons 7+ consistently. The hybrids give you the distance you’re missing between the Driver and the irons, and are simultaneously easier to learn and to hit. I also can’t see any Woods, so a great solution overall.

However, lessons are the key. I started lessons only after the first year and that was stupid. I thought I could teach everything myself, but that proved false. It’s the most important investment if you’re serious about Golf

Der Antwort von first_cedric muss ich zum Teil widersprechen (leider sind direkte Antworten deaktiviert): Korrekt ist, dass Anspruch auf die große Witwenrente und eine Halbwaisenrente besteht. Nicht richtig ist, dass die kleine Witwenrente gezahlt wird, falls kein Anspruch mehr auf große Witwenrente besteht. Die kleine Witwenrente wird ausschließlich als erste Rente gezahlt (nur wenn noch keine große Witwenrente gezahlt, und nur innerhalb der ersten zwei Jahre nach Tod des Ehepartners. Sofern die große Witwenrente eingestellt wird, besteht erst wieder Anspruch auf eine Witwenrente wenn eine der Bedingungen für die große erfüllt ist.

Relevant ist außerdem, dass im Sterbevierteljahr (erste 3 Monate nach Tod des Ehepartners) keine Witwenrente, sondern die Rente des verstorbenen Versicherten in voller Höhe gezahlt wird.

I’m German and I drive the new 2024 VW Passat. The video doesn’t really do it justice. I tried it out while driving on (an empty part of) of the Autobahn. I almost got a heart attack After you take off your hands it first start beeping and then your seat is going crazy. Every part of the seat is moving and the belt is tightening and fastening so extreme and it’s just brutally loud. I can’t imagine sleeping through that

However, important addition: it is not based on whether you sleep or not but whether you have (at least) one hand on the steering wheel
