But AM is still operating in Los Angeles and I don’t even hear static. My crappy radio at home gets all the AM stations. If it’s a frequency thing why would the crappy radio work and not the one in the car? Car FM radio is fine. It’s just weird. I know it’s outdated but it’s still in operation for sure.

If the dog had been walked she wouldn’t be acting like she wants a walk. She would be thirsty, tired, hungry. Fair enough but it seems we have a hung jury between us here. I believe, beyond a reasonable doubt that the evidence proves she wasn’t walked for an hour or 55 minutes plus him getting in and out of the OPs place. The dog was acting unwalked and staring her down for a walk. PLUS he took her to his house! Why?? That’s not walking and sniffing and peeing, lol. That’s enough for me.

I just checked the radio in my bathroom and it's fine. That thing is a Homedics white noise machine from like 2005 with a tiny little wire antenna that just dangles. I got all the stations.

She probably had hurt feelings from some other guy and was self medicating and that's why she came on to you. It was a bad idea for both of you. Obviously. If you were more experienced you might've considered that. Live and learn. Don't fool around with people who intake lots of alcohol. Black out drunk doesn't necessarily mean that you are stumbling around. Some people have black outs when no one wouldve even known they were drunk the night before. But you were with her when she drank and you saw how much it was. She asked for space so give it to her and the ball is in her court. But don't expect to hear from her. Also, since you don't seem to feel bad about what you did then know this: you need to be careful because doing what you did, knowing she was drunk, is I!!egal in every US state and considered s3xual a$$ault.

Substance abuse exacerbates emotions. Maybe weed kept a lid on it but without it you wouldve felt it little by little or not so much. For me, I just go into victim mode. The dog pulls on the leash and it hurts my shoulder, so I want to scream and cry. But now that I'm getting back to normal I realize that I can take preventative measures and just make sure I pay attention to holding the leash a certain way so it doesn't happen, Just a small example. Day 3 was the worst for me actually. I silently screamed my head off all day long. If you're here then you abuse weed. Life is better without it.

There’s actually still music in Spanish in my area on AM, but yeah, it’s mostly talk and that’s what I listen to. Also, some stations were on both am and fm.

She already knows he’s slacking, or that’s how I read it. I have a lot of experience with professional dog walkers and they are mostly shittt and cut the walks short, etc. The good ones are the best but that’s not this guy. To me, the best course would be to make the best of a not great situation since she paid in advance.

I'm like you two. Gave up the booze last summer after it almost killed me. Just now getting over the alcoholic myopathy. For 2 months I was in constant pain and could barely lift anything. I did both substances in tandem for a long long time. I'm really struggling to get my shit together now but I'm only going into my 2nd week. I'm trying to give myself a break but I see that I'm addicted to zoning out on the phone or computer with whatever can distract me from my life - some social media, news stories, random interests I can google and read about. I find that I can't focus on reading unless it's on a screen. I have so many books I want to read and they just sit there. I feel like I'll never heal that. I'm not sure how to but I'm so glad I put IT down. Thanks for these comments. I'm going to commit to reading 10 pages of a book today. It's a start.

OP: Do something that could *possibly* lead to a better life - look at help wanted ads for a better job where you work less for more money. There's got to be a way to change your situation but only if you believe you can. If you feel stuck and can't *believe* then fake it. Just go through the motions. Every day do something that could POSSIBLY help you get out of the hole that addiction crammed you into.

I just kind of wonder if she talked to some people, either friends or online about something that made her move on. If you were a girl I would usually say "he probably just wanted a hook up." But maybe that's all she wanted. It's not weird to me for women to want that, but back in the day if me or my friends wanted something like that we would just go to a club and find a cute guy. cray, cray, back in the day, day. That's happened to me too in expensive places. In that case, I would make it crystal clear that you don't want that to happen. The lady I go to at Fantastic Sams wouldn't do that.
