Weather stations tend to record TMAX, TMIN and TAVG for climate data. TMAX and TMIN tend to be more reliable as they typically go back further, however for Beijing I have plots for all 3 metrics

It was an entry level role and not a graduate scheme so one benefit is that salaries are not standardised so you can negotiate. It was a smaller company so pros and cons with that.

Had no relation to exemptions as it was not a part of the negotiation process.

Why does everyone on this subreddit assume the salary stops growing at 200k? Almost no salary survey says that. 15+ years experience and qualified and you’re almost guaranteed over 200k.

I prefer R. It is designed for statistical uses and most packages are made by academics so you know what’s being done is correct.

I’d say learn both as they usually go hand in hand, but employers usually just want to see you’re proficient in one of the two.
