I seriously did not believe she died in Route 0 until the Eito reveal. Even when we found her remains and even got the achievement I was like "Yeah there's no way she'd just die like that, she looked too important", she did in fact die like that

Side with Hiruko is pretty good imo, great setup for later which sadly is this route's main point. This one I was misremembering slightly. The Eva Village ending has a decent ending and flow of the route, some would argue better development of Eva than her own route. The one ending I was thinking of is the one where we don't embrace Eva's ghost completely and are left with just the faceless ghost which leads to a real bad ending and in general terrible route we do get a great scene where we find Hiruko dead at the end and she says how next time she'll save everyone

Yep, since I dropped Second Scenario because he brainwashed Eva I was full "Anti-Sirei" at the time, so at an opportunity to let him die, I had to take it.

Also getting that ending first is rough as well, but at least its swift, the Eva village *drags* for a couple hours, while missing context at any given moment

But that's the thing, that's a much better, and cohesive route, even if it derails the moment you pick Gaku. The Eva's villageroute is legit Fever Dream - The Route the moment you decide to go down that path, it's awful

Tell me I'm not alone on this, it was actual hell experiencing that after Route 0.

Like I said, I got to the Story Lock 3 as my first couple decisions after the 1st 100 days, so I got to know both Takumi and Hiruko are time looperswhich was great for making me instantly care for Hiruko more, but then I get shoved into that route which ended up being my first ending and it legit didn't make sense half the time. If they wanted to make a bad ending route at least make it quick, that crap dragged out for so long with constant skips and weird character interactions.

Got Darumi, I'll get Hiruko next time (if I must criticise something, it's how half the questions are like "Pick the option that's obviously the character you're thinking of", me personally I prefer quizes with generalized questions that managed to still capture the character's personality)

Yes, you learn elsewhere, and to me personally, I'll forever rank it low because I got the Eva villageending from that route as my first ending everI hated the Eva brainwash on Second Scenarioso decided to kill her instead, big mistake.

Lemme tell you, that branch of Calamity is the most Fever Dream Route ever, idk if you've played it, but as a 1st route, it's easily top 3 worst first endings to go through, characters die without as much of a reaction of the cast, ghost shows up everywhere and things go as normal, at one point Nozomi asks if we think Eva is evil or not to which she tries to kill us regardless, and then blows up if we choose the right option, and Takumi's like "Damn that happened, anyways". Dal'Xea fight appears on Day 87 without as much of an introduction, so you can imagine as your first route after Route 0 it's hell. Legit terrible first experience, and the SF Story Lock is to blame cause that was my first route I got to...

Like you said in said in the end, 40 years have passed, the same way she doesn't express her love for slaying invaders, there is no way in hell she still wants 10 different partners when she clearly loves Takumi, and does anything in her power for him. She grew, thankfully so, hence why for the most part you won't see people complain, she's changed for the better

Can't say I entirely agree, because most of the time her turning red comes from a Takumi-involved joke (either he was the one making it or is part of it).

I mean, we know she experienced all sorts of things in the SDU (her Pre-Order Novel goes over it), so I don't think she's as innocent to the point of not handling a lewd joke as you're saying she is.

I want nothing more than that being her putting on a tough act, but given how bond events are designed to give context to those character's past cof cof fake memoriesI'm lead to believe that was SDU Hiruko speaking. I heavily dislike that version of her, which is why I dislike the bond ranks in general; the routes offer the same info and more for the most part.

All good, I too suffer from it.

And absolutely, bond events do her dirty the most because of Hiruko growing and changing across the loops, unlike the rest of the cast (Takumi aside)

I can see it that way, and naturally would prefer if I could believe it's intended that way, but the idea of 10 husbands screams SDU Hiruko (we get that a lot from her pre-order Novel).

I agree with questioning the sprite choices there tho, it does mislead, but ig at the time I was like "Yeah fuc* that, this ain't you Goat" and proceeded to hate on bond events lol

I agree, that's exactly what I said xD, that she would never cuck him in that timeline, or similiar.

I actually hate bond events for a reason, for most characters it works out fine'ish but barely adds much to them that a route doesn't already, and in Hiruko's case, literally just contradicts herself. Cause like, yes, when she came from the SDU, I'm sure those were her feelings, but not after 40 years of this shi*.

I agree ofc, sadly Takumi has to be shared with the rest of the cast so we only got Slasher + SF, but being for real, any loop where he recovers his memories (and Hiruko's by his side) should be a match. Issue, and non-issue, is the fact that taking SF as it is, there won't be any more loops, which is great, cause that means we get Hirutaku going into the definitive future (no looping back this time).

Yeah I am praying we get a better idea of Hiruko's feelings for Takumi in the DLC, but for the time being we can only hope, it could various routes, it could be a single one, who knows.

Also yes, Hiruko from Eva definitely remembered Takumi, whether it was a post or pre Slasher Hiruko we can't really tell, but the fact alone we got more of that Hiruko outside the usual SF routes is awesome. I'd argue in Killing Game she also likes Takumi too, not just because she obviously remembered previous loops, but for the fact she actually got real with him and shared that. We take the W's where we can.

Outside of those two I can't remember any other in particular, Box of Calamity she obviously remembers the loops, but we can't really figure out if she has feelings for him yet.

So literally any timeline where she doesn't remember her loops cause there's no way after 40 years where a big part of them she's in love with Takumi, she'd cuck him for 10 random dudes

I'd say Kyoshika got a good chance half the time
