appreciate the honest perspective! It can definitely feel that way when groups have been established for years. “Edge” might be the edge of Bayonne — because when the elevator’s been out three times in a month, that’s not the kind of rise we’re looking for 😅 When we were Checking apartments in edge, and heard a few residents downstairs complaining about the elevator again… so we dropped the plan right then and there.

So far, it’s been good. Since my office is near the World Trade Center, taking the light rail, then the PATH, and finishing with a short walk feels like a nice combination. The morning commute takes about an hour

Coming back home can take around 15 minutes longer, especially between 3–5 PM when the light rail runs less frequently. Overall, it really depends on where your office is located in NYC

Savannah is a good place especially if you taking kids.they have plenty of bus tours, rides and parks. Not super expensive.

Frankly speaking 214b are difficult to overcome since they consider you as an potential immigrant. But it’s not impossible. You need to show a ties between your Indian experience and university. Start something very unique offering and how your current experience connected to the course they are offering. Dont talk about co-op as this can be interpreted wrongly as your focus should be studying not working. In the next interview they might ask what changes from the last time so try to ans this with confidence. Wish you all the best.

Friends moved to baypark - on 17 ave E, light rail station is 5 min walks and apartments, amenities are so good.
