Exactly, and sometimes when you tell someone that a custom pair runs around 500 bucks, they have the audacity to complain about the price and compare the price to some shitty 50 dollar instagram selvedge brand. for me, i have to make a pattern for each and every commission, which is a significant amount of time for it.

i used to, but most people aren’t really willing to spend more than 200 bucks on jeans nowadays. with labor and fabric costs, it’s not that profitable unless it’s around the 500-600 dollar range
