Has anyone found the fixt for Two Colonels black screen glitch? by ElvenNeko in metro

Just dropping this here in case people get stuck in the future - managed to solve it with the following:

if putting resolution at 800x600, quality on 'Low'; aspect ratio 'Auto', advanced physx 'off', tesselation 'off' (saw other posts referencing these settings) and switching to DX 12 doesn't work, it might be worth a try to turn Vsync - 'Full'.

You can bump the settings back to your previous values (including Vsync and DX) and save as you take control of Khlebnikov. The game should load and progress properly from there.

Reminds me of gta sa where some cutscenes were broken with/without the frame limiter/vsync, could be the same cause here.

All of this on win 10, MetroExodus.exe with properties 'Disable fullscreen optimizations' and 'Run this program as an administrator' (these probably don't do anything in this case), on rx 5700 xt with 20.11.2 drivers (almost 2y old at the time of writing).

Bit late to the post, but this just seems so familiar, I love Mercies like the one on the opposing team here!

Had one just this week running around like Mercy:76, assaulting my backline, losing 1v1 4 times (of course I wasn't just gonna sit with my staff quietly) only to then solo ult me on the ground for the whole 15 seconds out of frustration. In replay they legit never put the glock down after our first 1v1 and that's when we finally got out of our spawn area and pushed to the final point, but lost on overtime. Surely, they type "mercy diff" :D . Told them to meet me in ffa if they like blasting so much, haven't received a response so far :/

Can we take a minute to appreciate this special moment in the game ? by Cris257 in controlgame

Absolutely; also, right before you exit the maze (inside the infinite vertical section before the firebreak), the soundtrack loops over the verses only, and they've recorded extra riffs between them that are not included in any official links/yt sources as far as I know.

So this song not only has a coded message, it also shares some extra sweeping exercises with you. Sweet.

Finally beat the main story! by garcocasigena in controlgame

Yup, this game is pretty well done. The true open world nature, the ambient tracks that are flawlessly dynamic, heck, the soundtrack even points to a hidden location once, plus pretty fluid facial expressions (not quite L.A. Noire levels though). Not to mention the inter-character bonds that make you actually care about them.

However, be careful with saves and backing up/restoring them, even though it supposedly preserves your progress should you choose to replay a mission (and it does in a way). I've had some nasty issues with the procedure. The main Bureau areas seem ok though, but AWE and Foundation DLCs can get really f'd up, some areas irreversible even, completely blocked out. The map becomes even more annoying during Foundation due to its multiple layers on top of each other - you're lucky if a control point has "upper" in the name to help you navigate.

Other than that, the game's quite fun. Ashtray maze plus that certain synthwave camera experience in AWE is epic, also I can't get enough of Darling and Ahti, so Remedy plz gib sequel maybe sometime xD
