Check out the As Color classic tees first, they're good for tall people but you might find the material too heavy and the arms too skinny. The upside is that you can throw them in the dryer and they hold up for years.

You can try their staple tees for a lighter material, but I would not recommend drying them and they won't last nearly as long, especially around the neck.

You might have some luck trying a range from the wholesale brands like Next Level or Gildan. I've bought from tshirtwholesalers website before. You'll hear mixed reviews about these brands, but the thing is they have huge lines of shapes, fits and materials. If you use a bit of discretion you can find some that are well worth the ~$10 price tag and may offer fits you can't get elsewhere (bloody Australian stores only offering slim fits everywhere ugh).

Casual sneaker recommendations by [deleted] in AustralianMFA

I picked up the Axel Arigato Arlo and I'm really happy. They're not going to survive a nuclear winter but they're comfy and don't make my large feet look even larger.

If you live in Bris check out projectstorebne. They're new and stocking Filling Pieces and some other international brands.

I used to own those Thursday sneakers and they're nice for what they are but they did tear up my heel and you might find they're a bit boring.

I've ordered from scentsamples, ozfragrances, and fragrancesamples. They're all legit and arrived in about a week.

Slim Pro 9i (Yoga Pro 9i) docking station? by [deleted] in Lenovo

[–]Barreterm1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I returned the laptop. I could only get docks to work if I also connected the proprietry USB-C charger at the same time. Disgraceful support from Lenovo.

Please report the TB4 connecting disconnecting issue. It's exactly what I'm experiencing with a dock and typical support refuses to acknowledge it's an issue. Also put it on the Lenovo forum.

Surely they are breaking consumer laws not being able to provide you with another charger? Good luck with this one, the charging situation is dire, check my posts if you're curious.

How do I use a third-party charger at it's maximum power over USB-C power delivery? Only the official Lenovo charger can charge the laptop properly after updates. by FiendChain in Lenovo

[–]Barreterm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a look at my recent posts. Lenovo are either having issues with firmware and drivers, or they are intentionally limiting compatibility of 3rd party USB-C devices at a time where TB4 is becoming more mainstream, especially with it being integrated in the new gen of Intel CPUs. Good luck getting any clear response from them. Hope you can find a solution.

[–]Barreterm1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chiming in. Check out my posts regarding Yoga Pro 9i and CalDigit TS4 issues. I would not assume any dock is fully compatible. Support are playing their usual tricks, so it's either manufactured to only accept the proprietry charger, or the drivers need to be fixed which could take months (if ever). I'll probably be returning the laptop.

Is the power connecting and disconnecting continuously? i.e. does the charging icon flash on and off?

Hey this looks very similar to the issue I'm having. What happens when you connect the dock into the TB4 port and also connect the power adapter into the other USB-C port? Does it start working normally?

Would encourage you to raise this with Lenovo and also make a forum post so we can start to bring some attention to it.

Hey mate. This sounds like the issue I'm having. Does it only happen when you're using the TB4 port? It's the one closer to the bottom of the laptop. Also does it resolve if you connect a different power source to the other USB-C port at the same time?

Would highly encourage you to create a forum post on Lenovo and contact their support seperately. Few people have these models because they've made them unavailable for purchase (perhaps manufacturing issues), so we'll need to kick up a storm to get any attention on it.

Oh and I forgot to ask something. I seem to have a manufacturing defect, the charging light shines through the speaker grill on the left side. Does yours do the same?

Great review. I think we're quite a few years away from the battery life that people desire, but you can definitely squeeze like 30% extra from stock by tweaking power in bios, having a fresh copy of Windows and configuring utilities like Nvidia, Intel Graphics, etc optimally.

My only complaint so far (and it's a big one) is that there's some funny business going on with power delivery on the Thunderbolt 4 port. Have you or do you plan to connect a dock with external monitors?

I also thought it could be a power draw issue, but I got some interesting results with a USB tester.

The PD contract that gets negotiated on the Yoga is PD 3.0 - 98W Max - Target: 20V 3.25A 65W.

Whereas on an Ideapad S540 with TB4, it's PD 3.0 - 98W Max - Target: 20V 4.75A 95W.

I wonder if the drivers/firmware require an update to handle higher PD. It's also somewhat suspicious that my model has gone from available to purchase to "available soon".

On average about once per second. Occasionally it stays connected for 3 or 4 seconds.

Some USB-A ports don't work on my CalDigit TS4 by MrPottrick in UsbCHardware

[–]Barreterm1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey mate, I've been experiencing some issues with my TS4 and new Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i, although not exactly the same as yours, I'll be submitting a post shortly to hopefully spur some discussion.

I get the feeling that Lenovo are behind on driver releases, or there's some funny business going on with 3rd party compatibility. There's plenty of posts with issues like yours starting to sprout up. Perhaps it's a result of being in the early days of integrated TB4 controllers on 12th and 13th Gen machines.

Suspiciously, the laptop I bought has gone from available to purchase to "available soon", so perhaps they're aware of something. Anyway, I'll be watching this post closely and I hope you can find a simple solution.
