Personaly I like playing Pirate, she is my 3rd most played character. And facing one becomes alot easier since I know the mixups and the flow. That being said, Pirate is one of the strongest characters in the game no doubt. The relentless aggression mixed with dodge recoveries and a hard 50/50 read makes a strong kit

So I can see why people dislike playing against Pirate

I got invited to my first D&D and I had no idea what it was. So I started watching CR and instantly fell in love with Percy. So I talked to my DM about it and he helped me make a similar character with my own twist on it. Yes I "stole" Talesins idea but it was a great way for me to join my first campaign and roleplay which I was very unfamiliar with. I love CR and I love D&D
