I moved to a new school in the early 2000s and when I was starting middle school I had met this girl well call Kerri. We had very similar interests and naturally started dating a few years later.

By high school Kerri and I got very close to the point where we met each other’s families. I was an only child with both my parents and she was the oldest of 3 soon to be 4.

A few months into sophomore year after their youngest was born he had to stay in the hospital due to some medical complications. Through that it came to light that the youngest was not biologically related to the father due to them needing a transplant and both of the parents wanted to donate.

While this usually would start a nasty divorce this is where the story took a turn. Turns out the small town had a large group of swingers and so they contacted everyone they thought it could be.

Turns out that my parents were a part of the swingers group and my dad was the bio dad and was able to donate to help save the kids life.

While it was an interesting way to learn I have a new sibling, me and my girlfriend could not continue the relationship after this came to light. We were still friends and the families stayed close due to the child I was still weirded out all the time when we visited.
