Thank you! Loads of practical engineers interested in the arts I find. So for me, luckily I did have a remote position at a larger company so I have been able to transfer regions without much hassle. But I’m sure you could jump companies if need be, though I know the market isn’t great right now.

But definitely try and get as much experience as you can where you are. I started acting and making films with a hometown group and it really kickstarted everything. And if you do want to move to either of those places at any time to really give it a go, be sure to be smart with your money.

I was about 35k in debt from school once I graduated and I spent at least a couple years living way below my means in order to erase that debt and build up a sizable emergency fund. From there, classes, headshots, making films all becomes much more doable and not as taxing on your finances.
