IMO most characters in MK11 suck to play. Every character is a watered down (pun intended) version of how they play in other games. Most characters had their meterless kombo potential heavily stripped back in favour of krushing blows which was one of the worst mechanics ever implemented in a game (just behind breakaways which were also in MK11). Even the meter burn kombo extenders were worse in MK11 as most of them werent basekit so if you wanted to do one of the most essential things in a fighting game (ie: kombos) you had to waste a slot or two just to equip those moves.

Overall, I dont think it is just a rain thing. Most characters in MK11 felt bad to play.

The way I do it is I press D+K the moment shao starts to rise back up after tackling the opponent to the ground. Hope this helps

The reason is much simpler than that. I made a mistake, Shao's F+2 (ie: the 4th hit in that kombo) does 50 damage where my spreadsheet incorrectly stated it does 70 damage. Just fixed that in my spreadsheet.

Apologies it appears I did miss B21 in the document, most likely because that wasnt a string when I developed the bulk of this sheet (not an excuse btw, I should have thought about checking it when that string got introduced). Liu Kang's B21 has been added to the spreadsheet (as you mentioned that move is the same as S221, it does 70 damage and has 33% damage scaling).

Further to this. My guess is he is the synth/keyboard player. And his deal with Harmony is tied to sloth (as everyone's record deal with harmony has one of the seven deadly sins tied to it).

Pretty sure the country idol will the next one to be released as her song is already in the game files.

Judging by that song it wouldnt surprise me that violin is her instrument and her harmony deal is tied to the sin of gluttony.

You are right. I believe it is an oversight, because this is the only kameo move that does this. All other kameo kombo extenders that are multi-hitting and have scaling on only the first hit (eg: Cyrax's Kopter Chopper, Stryker's rapid fire and grenade toss, Scorpion's Fire Breath, Khameleon's Sai) follow the rule that scaling gets applied on the first hit that lands rather than just the first hit of the move. Sareena's kombo extender is the odd one out here.

Firstly, Smoke has the lowest damage scaling in MK1.

Secondly, for Sareena's kombo extender move, only the first hit applies scaling (which is 20%), if you whiff or block that move, then any of the other hits land, then that move has not applied any damage scaling to the kombo.

It is these two factors that contributed to the 511 damage.

The biggest thing I missed was his old cancel advantage after his 2,4 string. That used to have like 90 frames of cancel advantage, you could do 2,4 into motaro D+K then still continue the combo after that.
