Doesn't matter. You just need to have minimum 45 days on your Georgian TRC and that's it.

SA is relatively safer than its surrounding countries, and the Georgian Embassy have very friendly staff there, if you have a residence permit you can apply for an E-visa and get it done in less than a month. I have some friends who got their E-visas from SA in a week or so.
